Growing up without a father was difficult for Shin Eun So. She was curious about her father, yet her mother, Shin Seok, never told about him, merely telling her it was best forgotten.
Fortunately, she looked up to her uncle and grandfather. She saw them as her father figure. Still, there was always that small part of her, wanting to meet her own real father.
When she was eight years old, she saw her mother come out of her room, obviously crying. Shin Seok's eyes were swollen and her nose was red. When the same thing happened just months after, she became curious about what made her mother cry.
She was often a good daughter and followed as told. Nor did they have any troubles.
As she grew up, she made herself aware of any obstacles they may have as a family from her grandmother and from her uncle. It did not seem to her that money was a problem, nor do they have any misunderstanding within the family.
