Chapter 42 the demoness Trelfog, up close and personal

Deep underground, A high ranked demon was barking out orders from her office as she called for a messenger to find out what was going on!

This high ranked demon was called Trelfog that specialized in poisons and invisibility, thanks to her tactics many demons think twice before trying their luck in fighting her, her tight-fitting outfit was specially made to distract and arouse her enemies thanks to the little amount of cloth that covered her body, white long hair that tickled the top of her supple butt, chocolate brown skin that glistened from how much care she put into it, hazel eyes that squinted from the troublesome situation, her long pointed ears were moving up and down from her growing frustration, with a single meter-long horn on her forehead that glowed eerily.

while she may seem perfect body and look wise she was already nearing the end of her lifespan thanks to the number of struggles she had throughout her life and the damage it left on her body.

Thanks to the family's backing and the number of troops within this base that reached more than ten floors down, the demonic leader was sure of her safety, she may be a high ranked demon but it took her a very long time to reach Trelfog's current amount power!

this was one of the reasons for her preparations regardless of whether things are going well or not!

As wisdom followed her long years of experience, Trelfog kept an open mind about anything be it good or bad.

she wasn't willing to give up her life after reaching this level of power so the demon already had plans of escape should the enemies(?) reach even halfway through the base, like any demon there were always a lot of enemies that sought their lives, and this number grows the higher you reach!

Humans, other demons, and sometimes powerful magical beasts, this is one of the reason's why it was hard to ascend as a demon the harsh part of the world that they occupied, brought out the best and the worse of its inhabitants.

This is why demons are difficult enemies for humans, from a young age they must be cunning, they must be strong, they have to do anything to survive!

The messenger covered in blood had arrived with information that made soothe the growing headache as she had to prepare her stuff as quickly as possible, as they said there were no signs of any other enemies other than one strange golem that was decimating her soldiers and the owner used an altered version of the magic arrow that tore through anyone that was dumb enough to block it before the golem appeared!

but a voice made all of her thoughts freeze.

"so this is where you were."

Back at the entrance before the messenger gathered his current information then returned to Trelfog, Jack was making his way to the group of soldiers with large reinforced shields, their numbers were around a hundred and growing.

One thing was for sure, it was fun.

this right now.

for him, he used to be forced to attack from afar, having to wait days, months even years before he managed to kill the target of his hatred.

Right now thanks to his suit he can do the one thing he always wanted to do...

see the suffering of his enemies up close and personal!

with the snow covering the area, it didn't take long for some of the guards to notice the sudden appearance of a footprint in front of them, but even then, it was already too late as Jack fully committed to the swing of his jagged machete!

But one of them managed to say something before a gurgling on his own blood from trying to avoid the blade that had reached him by the time the demon reacted.

"He's- *gurgle*"

the demon dropped his shield before his blood spilled to the ground as he leaned forward while trying to stop the bleeding, however, the armor that was supposed to protect him prevented THAT!

The other guards around the excessively bleeding demon panicked except for the seven that stood in front of the dying demon, as they were the first... to fall dead!

one of the leaders within the group started yelling out orders to close in their ranks and shields forward using their very bodies to block the opening as they needed support from the stronger demons including their leader!

But alas that made him a target as Jack undid the cloaking while standing right behind him which made everyone there yell out to the one that took command to watch out.

Jack pulled the trigger of his suppressed handgun which caused the leader's head to explode then splatter all over the nearby guards!

He wanted them to stay there no way in hell was he going to allow any of them to escape his grasp!

while it lowered their morale a bit from seeing the leader's head burst like a watermelon, Jack wanted to test something as armor mode activated then he charged at them with his Machete raised!

one of the braver demons met his charge with a large shield while doing his battle cry, Jack quickly holstered his gun while using his shoulder to slam heavily into the shield holder!

*BANG*

The shielder, who was gritting his teeth from trying to not fall on his ass, was knocked a few steps back, as there was a fucking dent on the shield that blocked spells that could vaporize middle-ranked demons!

this was something that was easy for the current Jack as the nanobots worked fast to make anything he hit easier for him to break~

as for what he did will be somewhat explained later let us return to the demons~

The demon holding the shield had a ridiculous look on his face as did the others that saw this!

But he didn't have time to continue this, as jack's body spun before a kick hit the side of his shield with enough force to cause it to loosen the demons hold before another kick landed heavier than before which sent his protection flying towards one unlucky ally of his as the shield landed on the head killing the victim then a flash of light traveled past his hand that still held the broken handle of the shield and neck!

Jack already moved to his next target as the other demons started to gather their courage to fight as they charged forth with their spears and blades were drawn, while the first demon fell to the ground as his arm and neck spurt out blood like a fountain!

the other demons yelled put their war cries to help pump themselves up and provide them with some courage, even if it was a temporary solution.

*Clang clang ting tink ting*

Jack blocked the assault as the suit was supporting him to move more naturally with every exchange.

the man stayed low, using the bodies of the demons as the forefront to protect him from the others that are unable to reach him.

punching, kicking, scratching, headbutting were the actions that Jack used to support his blade, while it was taking him some time to take them out, this was making the suit optimize his movements as the demons did manage to land more than a dozen hits as sparks flew about, but as time went on, the messenger arrived as Jack cleaved through a good number of them again as his victims dyed the new arrival in their blood by kicking one of the dead to him!

Once it hit, The messenger fell on his ass while feeling weak to the knees as he squealed out loud like a pig in fear, one of the higher-ranked guards grabbed hold of him then escaped the area as he reported what he knew while taking the messenger back to the leader of this base fully keen on getting the fuck out of there while protecting(dragging) the messenger~

Jack noticed this thanks to his visor, which made him growl a bit before creating another Machete in his other hand, before saying something that made the more feeble-minded demons try to make a run for it as his body gained a purple glow!

"Well, time that I speed things up~"

Then began a 'bloody' nightmare for these demons!
