Chapter 17 more zombies, eye candy, a witch!

while Jack wanted the infected people to help lessen their numbers one of the other students found out, who quickly spread the word to the others, the ending of the infected people was brutal and reminded him of just how cruel humans can be!

the infected were mobbed by the others except for the main characters with the limited space on the bus, panic and paranoia was a simple ingredient for bringing chaos about as fists with kicks followed the people that Jack was supposed to protect were disgusted by them and decided to travel by foot lest the mob drags them into it!

the bus stopped and their group left the bus as for the, now, dead infected, their bodies were thrown out and the man who wanted to be like Oda Nobunaga the man took command through brute force forcing out all the men and the ones that refused to follow him leaving a good number of desperate girls, the vixen of a teacher, on the other hand, tried her luck with Jack as he went to follow the group, which failed miserably for her before she returned to the group of lustful boys and a small number of girls their lives changed for the worse when they reached a certain building filled with thousands to zombies what happened doesn't need to be said!

Jack was keeping track of the main cast, as something in the distance disturbed him greatly, using his enhanced eyesight he sees a large horde of zombies moving in a formation as one strange-looking zombie using a juggernaut like a horse at the very center of the horde and the scarier thing the strange-looking zombie used gestures to control the horde's formation and to completely sweep an area as the bus led them away but the last thing that the leader of the zombies did reassure him that they'll be back as it looked at his direction then sneered!

So jack double-timed away from the area!

as his arm was healing up again Jack equipped his M4 with a silencer since he wants to protect the group while keeping his distance, mostly due to the fact that he was socially awkward~ that samurai girl Saeko was making quick work of any normal zombies, the occasional ferals brought some issues only if they were more than 4 to where Jack helped out every time only to earn a scowl from her as for the gun expert chick she was drooling at the sight of his M4 but the threat of the samurai girl chopping him to pieces made him keep his distance even more.

few hours later they arrived at the school nurse Shizuka Marikawa's friend's house, since they were tired and all and the gun expert girl whose name was Miki Tsurugi was currently giving Jack the puppy dog eyes to get his M4 only to receive a letter from him that made her look through the house eagerly!

so the first option clearing the area, the second option eliminating the people that killed him then lastly escort him and his daughter to the main cast, the first option was a no go as even after killing a few hundred there was still more coming, the second option wasn't a good choice as the girl miki was currently watching him through the scope of the gun she was currently using so killing the people will leave a bad impression on her and rest the group.

while the third option seems like the best as the low numbers of the zombies were like a bad omen giving him the feeling that something was coming it couldn't be that leader zombie thanks to how few there were so it might be something just as bad or even worse so Jack hastened his plans and arrived in front of the tired yet still protective father and his daughter his words were straight to the point.

"allow me to escort you to the nearest safe house."

While his gun wasn't pointed at them it certainly helped him being persuasive not that he could help it as the dangerous feeling was just getting even worse the longer he was staying out here as soon as the father agreed the surroundings suddenly turned silent before the one thing that Jack feared and hated the most resounded.

He gave the man and his daughter a few instructions to follow!

"head to the house in that direction the one with the lights on they'll help you! and no matter what you hear 'don't stop' or you-will-die! do you understand!?"

the father was confused by the sudden change as he was unable to feel the threat but jack grabbed him by the shirt pulling him close to his face then asked again with a low growl!

"DO-YOU-UNDERSTAND!? if you don't listen you and your daughter will die here thanks to what's not too far from us!"

The man's face hardened before he nodded, Jack gave him one of his pistols with a silencer for more safety as he was really not looking forward to this, once the two were some distance away Jack climbed up one of the light posts that provided him the best angle as the crouched figure in the corner continued to sob, he tried putting a few bullets into her head but her ear-piercing cries shook the area as it also affected his suit's visor making it like what happens when you don't have cable.

the witch's figure was shuddering strangely before her head turned towards him and her eerie glowing eyes locked-on to him before moving even faster than a feral and unlike the game she can fucking climb!
