It's a new day and a new week. The weather was extremely cold as everyone's doors and windows were tightly shut. Alarms of people rang and rang continuously without them moving a finger as they were deep in sleep. Some woke up and turned it off as they continued with their sleep.
The lieutenant laid in bed, still fast asleep. The morning sun was already up even before him today which was quite unusual. He woke up earlier than the sun would, jogged down the street to stretch out before taking his bath, dressing up and treating himself to his breakfast of bread and tea or jam or butter or any bread spread inclusive. He always added tea or coffee to his breakfast every morning to help warm up his inner body.
