A Cold Shower

Victor glared at her with the same hatred and annoyance that she had carried. He didn't even bother hiding his reaction down there. Instead, he walked closer and pulled her back in his embrace, almost roughly, and said in a threatening voice, "Don't you remember you signed the contract today? You have legally become my wife. So behave!"

"I didn't become a person you can order around as you please! Let go! I don't want to do this anymore!"

"Then compensate me with twenty million dollars."

Julia's entire body froze at that point. She glanced back at the man in disbelief. What did he just say? Those words blurted out from her mouth without her knowing.

"I said, you have to compensate me with money."

"What the heck?! Why?! I don't owe you money!"

Victor suddenly smiled as he said in her ears, "Dear wife, did you not read the entire contract? I had mentioned that if you breach it for some reason, you have to pay me more. I think you might want to take back that file and read it over again. I would suggest you copy the entire document thrice to remember it better."

Julia's body went stiff as her mouth silenced.

Tw-Twenty million? Was this man kidding or what?! She didn't have that kind of money! Otherwise, why would she put up with that stupid contract and even sign it actively?!

"If you refuse me anymore, I'll just make a comment that you breached the contract and take you to court. So think before you say anything."

The corners of her lips twitched as she forced herself to calm down and looked at the old photographer with a hint of reluctance in her eyes. "You can shoot us now."

She still felt something poking in her thighs, but thinking of how she would have to return twenty million if the contract was breached….

She didn't dare to move at all!

Julia could still feel his lips on her ears as warm air breathed out of his mouth. Her body shuddered as her eyes closed. Even though she didn't want to, her body seemed to have been enjoying the closeness.

When the sound of a shutter was heard, the two of them instantly separated. Victor still didn't have any shameful expression on his face even though he had reacted because of the woman just now.

On the other hand, the girl was more than just embarrassed. She wanted to dig a hole and hide deeper and deeper in it. She took a deep breath and asked, "Am I done?"

Victor's lips curved up as he spoke: "My dear temporary wife, did you forget you had to shoot seventy-five more photos today? Those are all solos, and I'll add them to the album. Be sure to present yourself as a beautiful little angel even though you're nothing but a serpent in my heart."

After saying that, he turned and walked out of the studio without glancing at her reaction.

Julia was so angry that she wanted to rush after him and squeeze his throat! How could he say that?! 

When she thought of twenty million, she forced herself to calm down and faked a smile as she turned to look at the old photographer. "Shall we continue?"

The old man shivered after seeing that smile. The last time this lady had smiled like this was when a fan had irritated her by following her around like a stalker. She had immediately made his life difficult to the point that he came to her doorsteps and begged her forgiveness. Only then did she leave him reluctantly.

When the old photographer thought of this woman's history, he couldn't help but sigh. The two people who got married were like tigers who wanted to claim a spot. He wondered what they would do in the future.

At the same time, Victor closed the door to his office and ordered Haley to do some other job as he made his way toward the inner room. He stripped off and took a cold shower. By the time he got out of the room and entered the office, another person was sitting on the couch while playing on his phone.

The man with black hair, brown eyes, and a little short compared to him had a bored look as he played on his phone. Just as the man heard the sound of the door being opened, he raised his head only to meet Victor's eyes.

The expressions on the man's face changed as if a thousand flowers bloomed on his face. "Cousin! I heard you got married! Where's the sister-in-law?!"

Victor couldn't help but grimace when he thought of the girl who gave him that reaction. Even though he looked cold and aloof, as if he didn't care about what had happened back in the studio, he still felt angry with himself for reacting. How could it be possible for a girl like her?!

Indeed, he had found her unattractive, but why did he react when he held her in his arms for the shoot? Did he have a fetish or something for girls with a small chest?!

He rubbed his forehead and said with a voice full of annoyance, "Don't talk about that. It's only temporary."

"How could that be possible? I want to meet my sister-in-law!"

"Not possible!" Victor couldn't help but feel angry at his useless cousin. This person was from his father's family, who had been living with his grandfather for quite a while. His old man liked this kid, so Victor had no choice but to accept this person as his family member, even though the man acted a little stupid at times.

This cousin was also an orphan since his parents had died when he was younger. So his grandfather had asked him to give this person a job. After all, his cousin was still underage in the werewolf era, only two years before he would come to the marriageable age. Until then, this person would continue to work in his company as an actor, in which his cousin had done quite a good job.

After all, there wasn't one person who didn't know how attractive Mason Bush was! Many girls wanted to be this guy's mate! This person was smart, and Victor could feel it. Then why was it that whenever Mason conversed with him, the latter would act like a little child?

Victor felt that he hadn't done a good job teaching his younger cousin. He rubbed his forehead in irritation and said with a rare hint of patience when he saw the corners of his cousin's lips dropping, "Well….she's having a photoshoot with the old photographer you had appointed earlier."
