My heart was hurting, even though now I just look like a caretaker to her, but she still was like a daughter to me. Mr. Mateo sat on the sofa, he was looking super tensed and guilty his hands were on his head massaging it, Kevin looked sad too, he really cared about her she is his best friend everybody was silent suddenly, Mr. Mateo started looking at Kevin and asked, "Who is Elvin??". "he has just joined and he looks interested in her, from what I think" Kevin replied. "What!!, I need to see him, right now" he looked frustrated. Kevin went along with Mr. Mateo's men that were present there, to get him. Kevin's dad was gone too, and now there was only me and him. I decided to speak, "Maybe my time is over I should go back to LA now," I told him. "Why?". "Isn't it clear she doesn't need me anymore, she takes me as a caretaker now, who is extremely useless to her". "She doesn't need you, right I accept, but what about me? there were plenty of caretakers Anna why would I choose you if only she was the reason I bought you here". Anna, I have heard this name for, at least 20 years I disowned this name a long time ago he was the last one to say this, and now is the first one to take it out again. "Wha.....aattt? I was confused. "Anna, it doesn't matter how much you ignore this fact but deep down you also know why I bought you here". " Tell me Carlos I wanna know??". he stood up and hold my hand, anna she may not need you but I need you so, so, so much you cant understand dear you are the only person who ever understands me you were there when nobody else you are the only girl I ever loved" I looked into his eyes and started laughing, " LOVE! hahaha what a joke my dear, you still think that was love, that was just my foolishness to think that was love, Mr. Carlos Mateo you marry her, and you have a daughter with her okay you couldn't even take a stand for me!" tear started to fell down from my eyes to my cheek all the wounds once again were active. "Anna you knew marrying her was the only way to end all the wars and make us stronger". "Oh carlos, dont hurt me more please, if you want me you would take a stand for me in front of your dad when he insulted me in front of you and all you did just listened to him". I sounded irritated now. "Arya's father was really powerful at that time he could easily destroy us his only condition to settle all the wars was that I marry his dearest daughter I promise I never loved her the way I loved you". "YOUR MAFIA, YOUR POWER, YOU THATS ALL THAT MATTERS TO YOU CARLOS WHERE WAS I HUH? I WAS JUST LIVING AS A HOUSE KEEPER IN THE HOUSE OF THE GUY I LOVED". i was so loud that now he was quiet. " I still remember Carlos when Arya found out that we loved each other before, she was just broken as much as i was, i was the only reason she died crying she thought i was the only person whom she can tell every thing to but what happened she died thinking i was her enemy" now i was crying harder but i continued, "you destroyed 2 lives mine and hers she was also forced to marry you but she loved you as much as i did she deserved better life than what you gave, DO YOU THINK SAVING ME INSTEAD OF HER AT THAT DAY MADE ME HAPPY EVERY DAY, EVERY NIGHT HAUNTS ME I HAVE NIGHTMARES ABOUT IT YOUR WIFE DIED CAUSE YOU SAVED YOUR EX FIANCE INSTEAD OF HER". he was still quiet now i took a sigh and started speaking again for 20 years i kept all of this in my heart. "Carlos i love you still and will always love you but i cant forgive you nor myself for what Arya suffered". now he decided to speak, "what happened to Arya was her father's fault not ours, ok he decided to destroy her life he knew i was engaged to you but he still forced my dad to marry me to her, he knew we were together since we were 10 than why he still decided to destroy us". "if you tried you could have done something, but if you didn't, and get married to her, you should have fulfil the marriage, you had a daughter with her so you should have treated her like she was the only woman you loved, you should have saved her that day!!!!". "SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT I LOVE YOU AND I COULDNT LET YOU DIE IF THAT MOMENT REPEAT AGAIN I WILL SAVE YOU AGAIN BECAUSE... I LOVE YOU, YOU AND ONLY YOU, SHE WAS NOTHING TO ME ". he pulled me from my hand and hugged me, I was shocked, tears started to come out of my eyes again now, suddenly I heard a voice, " DAD!!!". my eyes got widened my heart skipped a beat he moved away hurriedly, it was Aurora she saw us how much she had heard I didn't know I started to panic. "Ray....." Carlos said. "NO...NO...NO....NO, my mom was nothing to you and this lady was the one you lovedddddd YOU BOTH BETRAYED MY MOM SHE CRIED EVERY NIGHT BECAUSE YOU BOTH WERE BUSY CHEATING ON HER NOW I UNDERSTAND, Ms. Claudia I gave you my mom's place I loved you and you.....did what you are a monster and you too dad I hate you both I hate you both really very much". hate, she hates me now I made her hate me, god I was now silent more likely ashamed. The world was revolving in front of my eyes, I wished this all was a dream and I wished someone woke me up soon.

The gate opened a guy entered he had green eyes Kevin and some men were also along with him in no time I realized he was Elvin, "I brought him sir" Kevin said."WHY IS HE HERE NOW, DO I HAVE TO BEG FOR HIS LIFE NOW CAUSE MY MOM ALSO DID BEG YOU EVERY NIGHT, EVERY DAY TO LOVE HER I DAILY EAVESDROP SHE WAS CRYING ALWAYS AND YOU ALWAYS WENT OUT MAYBE YOU GO TO HERR". Aurora was shouting at us I felt like my world shatter into pieces I felt like i lost everything I was taking care of Arya's daughter so that ill achieve her forgiveness but now I knew she will never forgive me, neither Arya nor her daughter.

Aurora came down and stood in front of Elvin, "I am sorry for all the inconvenience, you may go now". "Are you okay Aurora you look pale have you cried a lot", Elvin said. he looked like he was concerned about her, aurora looked at him and nodded while crying. " Ra..yy, listen!". Carlos said his face was looking so tense that anybody easily can saw tension on his face. "Oh, please dad, don't just don't talk to me, ever again, you are nothing to me from now on" aurora said her words attacked me really badly and even more to Carlos, Aurora was silent now she wasn't crying she started going upstairs to her room and closed the door, Carlos just stood there and looked her going up he wasn't in the state of taking to Elvin so he just said to him to go and Carlos also went up now it was just me, Elvin and Kevin. I looked at Elvin he seems very similar to me like I have seen him before but I was not in the correct state of thinking about why he seems familiar.

"Just stay away from aurora understood," Kevin said to him, in reply he laughed and looked in his eyes and then looked away again while laughing. I decided to also go to my room

the wind was blowing hard my curtains were continuously moving I decided to close the window I looked at my drawer and took out a photo album, every page in that album consists of the most memorable days of my life the first page was of pics when I was 5 when carlos's father brought me here, I had a pic with him too where he was pulling my hairs and I was crying a sudden laugh came and some tears also started to fell from my eyes, then I turned the page there were photos of when I got admission in Carlos's school, I, carlos and stephen was standing in the play ground I still remember stephen he was a really good friend of us we were 15 years old when he proposed me and that day carlos hit him really bad they fought and part their ways they were childhood best friend but now they are nothing more than enemies, stephen's father and carlos's father was also best friend but I don't know what happen they also parted their ways now I don't even know where they are. I stopped now and closed the album my eyes were all blurry because of me Arya died that day she came to me, she was crying and saying, " Please tell me what you did to make him fall for you so much, I beg you please let him love me" I tried explaining to her that the day they got married was the last day of us too I broke up with him, but she wasn't listening she was just crying and then Carlos came he shouted at her, I took her stand we all were fighting when the fire alarm rang we were on 4th floor the fire was spreading fastly I, Arya and Carlos ran but Arya pushed me on the floor I knew she did that on purpose. but after pushing me she tripped too the fire was now all over the house I tried to get up but there wasn't enough oxygen to breathe so I couldn't stand, Arya was also almost fainted this is when Carlos came back, he had only two hands, he had to choose and he chose me instead of his wife, I heard her saying, "Take care of my daughter, please". that was her last word he took me out then he tried to go inside again to get her but the fire was really high and after that day I couldn't blame myself less for her death, my every breath feels like it belongs to her
