Trapped in the Body of a Possessive Duke Daughter

Synopsis: I want to feel the warmth of a family. I want to feel affection and love. I want to be noticed. Like a child. Becoming an adult means being a slave to life. I'm an orphan who never know what is a 'family?' Until finally I married and had children. Now I am a mother and also a career woman. I got married, had children, and finally I had a 'family' of my own. But it turns out that everything is not as beautiful as I imagined. I still don't feel the warmth of my own family. If I could manipulate time and change destiny, I just want to return to being an innocent child who doesn't know anything so that adults will pay attention to me. God apparently heard my hidden desires and now I have to live as Cellia, the only daughter of Grand Duke Leonhart and am trapped as a small child who is cared for all her life by her very possessive daddy! "No one can touch my daughter! Not even a speck of dust!" "Whoever makes my daughter shed tears, I will kill her even if it's myself!" And my dad's anxiety got crazier when I got a letter of mandate in the form of an application from the crown prince. "When I become emperor, I will marry your daughter, Duke Leonhart. This is an order. Cellia will be my empress and queen in the future!" (Crown Prince) "I won't let it happen! Before that happens, I will become emperor first and no one can have my daughter!" (Duke Leonhart) "But Dad's, I'm sorry. I can't marry you, but I promise to remain your little princess. Forever ..." 30. the Lost Little Girl

...

It's been almost midnight since I left the festival and arrived home.

In the dark room, there was only faint light filtering in from between the window vents. It was the light that came from the lighting outside and with this faint lighting, I kept turning my body. Go right and left then right and left again. I continued doing that for almost three hours and it would be four hours when the midnight clock ticked any minute.

I can't sleep!.

No matter how hard I closed my eyes, my head was filled with questions like puzzle pieces floating around in disarray.

How could this happen?.

I'm curious myself... But this isn't insomnia like in my previous life. I can't sleep not because of worry but because of dissatisfaction with the questions I haven't found the answer to.

Ah, this is the same feeling when reading a novel with a cliffhanger ending. I'm going crazy with curiosity!. But I didn't want to die and become a curious ghost, so I climbed out of my blanket and got out of bed.

Hup!.

So, what do I do now?.

Uuh, I really want to go to the next door room!.

Shortly before we arrived home, the Choco Kid had arrived first along with Vincent who took him to get treatment from our private doctor and he was placed in the empty room next to mine.

Later I found out that the room next door was actually made for my sister. I mean, it seems like mom and dad are already planning to add another little angel after I'm born to be my friend. But something like that doesn't seem to have happened because my mommy was kidnapped by a dragon, so the room remains empty until now and maybe one day it will be inhabited if mommy is found and our family is complete.

I can imagine if I had a younger sibling. But to be honest, I would rather have an older brother than a younger sibling. In my previous life I felt like I had many younger siblings in the orphanage even though we were not related to each other by blood. Actually, I was the oldest child in the orphanage so without realizing it I was considered an older sibling by the children there.

Suddenly I remembered that Kharel was one year older than me and for some reason I imagined that he was my older brother.

How does it feel to have an older brother?. I will definitely always be looked after by him. The people who pay attention to me will increase again. Ah, it's nice when something like that happens, but I can't hope for anything more like that.

First is the truth that Kharel is not my brother and second. I was born as the first child. So my chance to be a younger sibling who is cared for and loved by an older sibling will not exist.

Okay. Let's just finish this imagination activity. I just wanted to see Choco Kid's condition and talk to him. If I'm lucky, I'll get an answer as to why he was at the festival sick. Yes, if i'm lucky because from what I've seen since we met, Choco Kid seems to be quite a closed person and finds it difficult to speak honestly to other people. Almost like Eliza Vallois.

Oh, it's no wonder the two of them were able to talk intimately at my birthday party at that time... I think it's because their characteristics are quite similar.

I opened the door and peeked out and found that Vincent was not standing guard outside my room as usual. Maybe he was going to the bathroom?. Or was he carrying out other tasks given to him by daddy so he wasn't standing guard in my room?. May be.

Moreover, security at my residence is very tight from the outside to the inside, so even if the outside of my room is not guarded, I don't think there will be any problems. The problem was only because my daddy was too worried about me, so he added to my security by making Vincent the door guard to my room. Dad also did that because he trusted Vincent more than anyone.

I also just found out that Vincent has served the Leonhart family since childhood. He was someone who had been helped by my grandfather, his father my daddy, and was finally appointed as my daddy's personal knight.

By the way, I have never met grandfather or grandmother. Are they still alive or dead?. I don't know because I never saw them or heard my daddy talk about them at all.

Clak!.

The sound of the door opening was quite loud in this quiet night. I opened the door wider and stepped into the room where Choco Kid was in it.

The atmosphere in this room is not much different from my room, it's just that there are very few items and furniture in this room, which creates an atmosphere that feels cold and very quiet.

This room reminds me of my room at the orphanage in my previous life. Because our orphanage is just a simple orphanage, we sometimes experience several shortcomings and rooms are one of them.

The oldest me once gave in and slept in the attic alone. There was only the sound of mice squeaking and occasionally running here and there afraid to make a sound in my very quiet room. The sound of the rat's noise was the only way to relieve my feeling of loneliness at that time.

But at this moment, breaking the silence in this room was the sound of moaning. Not long after I stepped inside, I heard a groan. The sound came from behind the curtain that separated the mattress inside.

Argh!!. Argh!!.

I immediately ran in and looked over this big bed. And sure enough, the groaning sound came from Choco Kid!.

Kharel looked very sick. Cold sweat was already covering his face.

"Kha-rel…" I muttered. I tried calling him but in vain. Kharel rolled here and there in an unconscious state. It seemed like his behavior was because he felt pain all over his body.

I know, when someone has a fever, they will definitely feel pain all over their body as if their bones are being slowly crushed. However, it seems that Kharel is experiencing pain at a different level than usual fevers because of something else that is now starting to appear!.

I see. From his hands, forehead and chest, something could be seen starting to appear. They were reddish purple crystal stones like amethysts mixed with blood. The crystal stones look similar to the magenta crystals that were in the pool under the altar during the festival.

For a moment, I also remembered the incident when Enzi took an amethyst out of his hand just like that...

What happened to Kharel?, I have to call a doctor!.

But my steps stopped when I suddenly remembered Enzi's words when he took out an amethyst from his hand. He told me to keep it a secret.

So, is this condition also the same?.

Should I keep this a secret?.

Should I let Kharel be in pain like this?.

Oh my, I'm so confused. I'm filled with dilemma. If I tell the doctor and it turns out this was supposed to be kept secret, I would be making a mistake!. So, what should I do now?!.

"Kharel... what's wrong with you?. Kharel... Kharel..." I held Kharel's hand and could only call his name in the hope that he would calm down a little and the pain would go away.

Argh!. Argh!!

Kharel just groaned. The crystal stones started to stick out so much. What actually happened to him?. Why is his body emitting these magenta crystal stones?!. Can't I do something for him?!.

"Kharel..." I called. I held Kharel's hand very tightly and prayed to God.

ARGH!!!.

Kharel's moans got louder, but this time he opened his eyes. But something is different. Kharel's eyes seemed to radiate light as if you could see a kaleidoscope through them.

"Kharel... Kharel... did you hear Cellia?"

Kharel did not respond and continued to groan in pain. Without realizing it, my tears fell. I don't know why I couldn't bear to see him in pain like that, but on the other hand I was afraid to tell the doctor. I'm afraid of making a mistake. What should I do?.

"Someone, please save Kharel" I hoped.

Zrhhss ... Suddenly I felt another sensation as if something was flowing from my hand throughout my body and I saw a golden light appear from my hand which was holding Kharel's hand.

This is the same as what happened when my daddy and I were at the temple. What happened?.

Putting that aside, I saw that Kharel was no longer moaning in pain. His face calmed and he went back to sleep. Then the crystals that grew in his body also slowly turned into light dust which evaporated and then disappeared completely.

What really happened?!. Was that mana ether?. So how can I get something like this out? What's the trigger?. Holding hands?. It can't be that simple, right!.

There must be something that makes the light come out!.

Gyut...

While I was busy thinking about that, Kharel returned my hand. He held my hand tightly like a child who was afraid that his balloon would fly away into the sky if he didn't hold it tightly.

I looked at Kharel's face and he looked very calm. His face that looked like he was in pain earlier had disappeared. And without realizing it, I fell asleep next to Kharel. For some reason I felt very tired suddenly and became very sleepy.

The morning.

When I just woke up from my sleep. When I just opened my eyes. When my vision is still blurry. I was surprised by something!. Even though it was only for an instant, I felt like I saw Enzi beside me.

But, when I rubbed my eyes, I couldn't find his figure. There was only Kharel who was still asleep with a peaceful face. It seems like his fever has gone down too.

Maybe this is just an effect because Enzi's face is similar to Kharel's so that when I see Kharel's face it feels like I see Enzi at the same time.

Clak!.

The door to this room opened and I saw Vio enter.

"It turns out you are here, Young Lady. "I've been looking for you everywhere for a long time," said Vio. He came over to me and touched my forehead then he breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed Vio was worried that I would catch a fever again because of being infected by Kharel after I was found here with him.

For a moment, Vio seemed to glance at Kharel and she seemed to be relieved again because Kharel seemed to be getting better.

"Young Lady, your daddy asked you to come to his room. There's something he wants to show you..." said Vio.

As soon as I arrived at my daddy's office, I was surprised by a little girl who was sitting there. I also heard my daddy's conversation with Vincent before he finally noticed my arrival.

"For the time being this child will stay here, under my supervision until I confirm where he came from and why he ended up in the hands of slave traders. I also have to find out how border security could be infiltrated by these human traffickers..." said my daddy to Vincent.

She was the little girl that His Highness Yvone helped at that time!. The little girl whose head was almost crushed by a demon during an evacuation drill!.
