Deciding a City

My eyes opened to the familiar luxury that I expected of my room in my Mistress's domain. I smiled as I knew that today would be the day I would go back to see Iona, Fidel, Gloom, and Viccy. I was looking forward to seeing how they were with Naughty Bunny too. It was interesting as I got up and stretched as I wondered when my Mistress would come by.

I didn't have to wait long as my Mistress showed up a minute later while I moved towards the bathroom to wash for its fun. "You are awake," I heard her say, and I turned towards Mistress. "That is good. I have something to attend to, but I also have something for pleasing me with that performance yesterday."

Mistress held something, and at first glance, it was a simple gold bracelet. As I took it from her hands, I saw that it was anything but. Small gems encrusted the bracelet's edges that were so small you couldn't see them. I also realized they were made to go against the skin in a smoothness that surprised me.

I widened my eyes, and I looked up at Mistress as I put it on. "Thank you, Mistress; I will use it effectively against my enemies," I told her, and I saw her smiling.

"Good, But I do not have time at this moment to talk. I will warn you that things seem to be happening in the underbelly of the Righteous faction. They seem to be up to something, and those corrupt old fools will do something soon." Mistress's hand waved, and the world rent itself with final words whispered in my ears, "Grow stronger and entertain me, my Disciple. I look forward to what you bring next time."

The world only began to right itself, and trees surrounded me, and elves moved around me. I coughed, and dry heaved as I was not expecting to teleport. Taken off guard and was left shaken.

I recovered quickly, though, and found myself in the teleportation center of the City. I quickly began walking with rapid steps towards the inn. It did not take long, and I saw Iona, Fidel, Viccy, Gloom, and Naughty Bunny walking out together. They all noticed me, and Viccy pointed me out. Iona and Viccy smiled while Naughty Bunny's was more neutral along with Glooms.

"Your back!" Viccy exclaimed, "I figured you would not be back till nighttime."

"Mistress had something to deal with and sent me back as soon as I awoke. Where you all headed?" I asked.

"We were going to look some more into what City we should move to. I was thinking Seven Isles city." Viccy said, and Iona shook her head.

"From what we read, that City's security is too high like the Elven City. I am thinking of going to River springs City. There is a large slum there and a large amount of crime. From what the Guards say, there are many quests there we could do." Iona said reasonably, and it sounded intriguing to me too.

"There is also Dark City," Gloom suddenly entered, and all but Fidel frowned as she was watching coldly. "It is a city of the Neutral faction on paper, but every faction has its fingers in it, from the demon faction to the Righteous faction. The surrounding area is even in the Druid's area of interest and keeps a presence in the City. It is a city with many quests that a charmer would excel at with proper backup."

I turned to her, and I looked even more intrigued. "This isn't just for me, though. I want all of us to be good with the decision." I said, and I saw some more smiles from that.

"Well, That is the great part about Dark city. The Nature there is in flux, meaning the interest in druids like myself. I have many things that I would like to do there, including research." Glooms smile was bright, "Damn, I love that I left that barren place!"

I smiled as Gloom said what she said about the place we met her in. It truly looked like a boring place, and I remembered the quick shot commander she had. I shook my head and looked at the other ladies, "So what else do we have?" I asked.

"Those are the only three cities where we could work, although Seven Isles is a good place, I believe; they are right in saying that the security there is much more secure. But I think it might be a good place to start getting used to the city quests." Viccy said, and I nodded.

I thought about it, and I realized that I was being looked at as the person to decide. "Honestly, I am not sure," I said after a couple of moments. "But I do know that we can always change cities if we want to. It might hamper progress later, but I think it would be fun to see Dark City before since it sounds unique, and there is a good chance to quest with someone of our affiliation."

Naughty Bunny spoke up, finally saying, "Actually, I am new, but I do have a quest that would take me in that direction. I wanted to see some elves first and have some fun before I went, but there is a Hellfire Temple there currently. I have a quest to help them and grow their power base."

"Well, with a quest and maybe even some backing there, it is decided. And, with that out of the way, I think we need to do some research and gather supplies. Tomorrow we go to Dark City!" Viccy announced, and everyone, except for Fidel, looked happy.

We began to head to the Elven Libraries to look for more information and hopefully find some secrets.
