Speacial chapter: Omake Three

{Yakushi Inn: One sunny random Afternoon.}

" Ahhhh! I can't wait to finally taste this Ichiraku Miso Ramen." Ekko said in a cheerful manner. He had been running all around the inn and Yakushi all morning to either complete certain tasks or to help around the town.

So when he was finally given time to relax he decided to try out the ramen he had gotten as a reward from the system.

"Aooowwwwwwww, arf!" Unfortunately, before Ekko could dig into his meal, he saw Cerbie running across the floor and tracking in mud everywhere he stepped." NO! Cerbie not in the house...dammit he's running to my room."

Ekko looked hesitantly at the bowl of glowing ramen and said." We shall be reunited soon, just wait for me." Before running after Cerbie and washing him up clean.

Unfortunately when he returned he was greeted to something so Earth-shatteringly horrible that he went completely weak in the knees.

" No! No this can't be, I was only gone 10 minutes...why...why...whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!" Ekko screamed to the heavens for answers as he held the empty ramen bowl in his arms.

" ~Sniff~ D-don't you worry Mi-Mi, I'll find the one who did this to you...and they will be punished." Ekko said with determination.

{Yakushi Inn: Confession room( Which is basically just the living room.)}

The lights in the room were cold and the normally open curtains were closed making sure not a sliver of light entered.

Suddenly a lamp light was switched on and directly pointed at the faces of all the residents of Yakushi.

Some of them had nervous looks while others were just deadpanned and confused.

{Fuuuuu, Shuuuuuu!}

Ekko took a long drag of his Dublin pipe before letting out a breath of smoke.

" You all must be wondering why I have called you all here...well that is quite simple, a murder has taken place here today and you are here because...all of you could be a potential murderer!!!"

Ekko said while flipping his brown tweed cape.

{Dun! dun! dun! dun!} On que Eris plays some really dramatic music in the background.

Eris who was wearing a similar outfit of clothes to Ekko glared at the girls like they had all committed the crime.

" Your joking right, It was a freaking bowl of ramen Ekko, just go and buy another one." Cana was the first to complain, as she had just been woken up from a really nice nap.

{Bang}

Ekko slammed his hand onto the table and glared at Cana." Just a bowl of ramen, just a bowl of...she, she was more than that, she and I..." Ekko was getting emotional but was comforted by Eris.

" Sigh! in any case, none of you are free to go until I bring this criminal to justice." Ekko said in an awe-inspiring tone.

Eris Looked at Ekko in admiration before asking." But how?"

Ekko scoffed at the question." Quite elementary my dear Eris, through the power of deduction of course. It's always there. The truth, you just need to look for it."

"And on that topic, you seemed quite jumpy Cana, maybe you have a sense of guilt and you want to escape this investigation." Ekko said as Eris shinned the light on Cana.

" Ghnnn!! To bright Eris."

" Oh, sorry-Nya!" Eris turned the brightest down on the lamp completely forgetting that she was supposed to stay in character.

" And for your information, I'm grouchy because a certain someone had woken me up from a really nice nap I was having, and for your information, if I had eaten your ramen..."

"Mi-Mi. Her name was Mi-Mi."

"..."

" If I had eaten...Mi-Mi I would have told you already, but I didn't I was asleep so can I go now."

{Fuuuuu, Shuuuuuu!}

" Oh I see, so that's the story you're going with, but I find it quite humors that you say that because from my sources at exactly 15:45 Pm they saw you walking into the kitchen, exactly 5 minutes after I left the scene of the crime."

The girls collectively gasped and looked at Cana.

"Eris You snitch, you said you would keep it a secret." Cana glared at Eris the supposed informant who sheepishly scratched her head and apologized.

" So what were you doing Cana, because you certainly weren't napping." Ekko smirked while Cana cursed under her breath.

" Fine, so I wasn't asleep, though I really didn't eat your ramen, me, Rangiku and Baiken were planning to drink this weekend but we know how much of a stiffer you are so we've been buying and hiding a stash of our own."

Rangiku and Baiken tried to stop Cana from spilling the tea but it was too late. Cana then walked to a floorboard in the living room and lifted it showing at least 20 sake bottles.

" I see, I guess you are innocent of guilt...for now at least. So then Ahri, Akali and Kai'sa may I ask where you were at exactly 15:40 pm and 15:50 pm." Ekko asked as Eris shined the light on the three girls in question.

" Umm, well I and Kai'sa were in the studio working on the song while Akali was with Baiken in the backyard training." Ahri said while confidently showing a video she took at exactly 15:47 Pm.

"Woof, ruff"( It's true dad, when I was playing in the yard I saw them flying and throwing Swords at each other it was so, SQUIRREL!...Cool.)

Eris translated for Cerbie who was all soft and Fluffy from the bath Ekko had given him." I see, so all four of you have an alibi then...so that only leaves Masane, Rangiku, and Evelyn."

" So Masane may I ask where you were at exactly 15:40 pm and 15:50 pm." Ekko took another puff of his fake smoking pipe and asked.

All the girls were now staring at her which made her even more nervous than she already was." I...I-I was in my room, yea I was in my room, writing my novel." Masane said in a shaky tone and all of the girls could tell she was lying immediately.

Though Ekko already knew that Masane was terrible at lying, she was really too easy to read." I see so you were in your room writing...then may I ask could you breathe for me."

" Huh, what do you mean breath." Masane asked confused and Ekko smirked.' Ha-ha-ha, you have fallen right into my trap.'

" It's simple, I want you to breath and exhale through your mouth and if Cerbie doesn't smell anything then I'll believe you." Ekko said in a clear victorious tone.

Masane looked mortified, and Ekko looked smug." I-I want my lawyer."

" Sorry no lawyer for you, now breath, if you are innocent you have nothing to worry about. Now open wide...Good girl." Masane reluctantly opened her mouth and breathed.

Cerbie Sniffed the air on Ekkos command and Eris translated, as expected there were hints of miso broth and beef on her breath.

" The Jig is up criminal you have nowhere else to run, but if you admit your crimes and repent then I can be more lenient.

And also when you commit a crime you might wanna change your shirt afterward, there's a brooth stain on it." The rest of the girls sighed while praying that the punishment wasn't too cruel.

"W-wait, I admit that I wasn't in my room, I was actually walking by to the kitchen to get a snack when I saw the bowl, I at first thought to leave it alone...b-but it smelt so good, I just couldn't resist the temptation."

Ekko puffed his pipe while quoting the story of Adam and eve and the forbidden tree of knowledge in his mind.' Sigh as expected of my excellent self, ive finally caught the suspect.'

" But I only ever took one bite from the pork, I promise that was all after that I immediately left. Thats also when I stepped on some mud on my way back to my room, you have to believe me "

'Wait what!'

The girls looked skeptical but Ekko sighed in frustration." *Sigh* Sadly I have to believe you Masane, I remember a human-like footprint when I was cleaning up the mud tracks Cerbie made in the house."

"Plus you were way too calm when telling your side of the story. So I guess your also free from guilt, you also tend to be a slower eater compared to the rest of the girls so if you had of eaten my ramen I would have seen you on your way out and on my way back."

Ekko then proceeded to question Rangiku and Evelyn but they too had a good alibi for what they were doing, so now they were back to square one, and regrettably, Ekko couldn't find any more clues that led to the girls eating his ramen.

So unfortunately he wasn't able to bring any justice to his dear sweet Mi-Mi.

{Yakushi Inn: The back garden}

" I'm so sorry Mi-Mi, I know that whatsoever's stomach your in, that you brought them immense joy and satisfaction. And even though you were only in my life for 5 minutes your presence alone made Miso-happy."

Ekko lamented in front of the grave he dug in the back garden. There was a wooden sign that had carvings on it and it read as follows.' Here lies Mi-Mi, she lived a great 15 minutes, May God rest her bowl!!.'

"It's time to go inside now Ekko...and also because it's lunchtime and I'm hungry." Rangiku commented while her stomach growled.

Today hence fourth would be known as the missing Mi-Mi case.

One of the many mysteries that has occurred in the Yakushi Inn over the years but one that has never been solved.

Meanwhile, on the rooftop of Yakushi Inn, a certain golden-eyed and black-haired cat burped in satisfaction while rubbing her round and full belly.

She smacked her cat lips in contentment while also liking the remnants of Pork from her fingers." Haaaa! I wonder if Ekko has any more of that Ramen."

Yoruichi commented nonchalantly as she decided to take a quick cat nap after her meal.
