Chapter 106

The girls seeing this laughed as they recorded Ekko chasing Cana around the house.

Though the sudden sound of a cat made Ekko pause as he looked at the black-haired golden-eyed cat that Eris was playing with.

' Huh, isent that...'

" Oh, I knew there was something I forgot to tell you this morning, yesterday you also adopted a cat that appeared outside the inn." Rangiku said while giving Ekko a wink though she hid it from Yoruichi.

" Is that so?" What else did he do while he was drunk yesterday?

And just like that, another eventful day in Yakushi Inn passed, with not one but two new members joining the fray.

{Two days later: Tuesday - Location: Yakushi Inn}

It's been around two days since the festival and things are finally starting to calm themselves in town.

Most of the decorations around Yakushi have already been taken down with only a few being seen here or there, and though it only lasted a day the festival was still being talked about by the residents.

Meanwhile, Ekko and the girls have just been doing their own thing whether that be relaxing and lazing around, working on their music, or just strolling around town.

Since Ekko was free yesterday and had no school and Rangiku was also free the two had decided to go on a nice date around Tokyo and just enjoy themselves.

Ekko also bought some stuff for the school event or Lockdown. Students will be sleeping in the school overnight and need to bring some change of clothes, a toothbrush, and a sleeping bag.

After their date, he and Rangiku decided to take a role in the hay at a nice hotel, and not returning to the Inn until the next morning.

{Yakushi Inn: Front entrance/ Time - 5:00 Pm}.

At the front gate, Ekko could be seen getting on his Yameha - Yzf- R1m two-seater motorbike. It wasn't one of the most expensive bikes in his collection but it was one of the bikes he liked the most.

" Are you sure you got everything, clothes, brush, Sleeping bag?" Rangiku who was outside seeing Ekko off was badgering him like a mama hen, honestly, it was adorable but if this continued then he would be late in picking up Gojo.

" I've got everything I need Rangiku, stop worrying so much. Now you should just relax and have a fun night with the other girls." Ekko said as he placed his hands on her face and squeezed her cheeks together making her look like a puffer fish.

Since Ekko was going to the school to basically a sleepover, Eris really wanted to go with him but since it was for students only he couldn't take her, so she was pretty depressed for a while.

He did think that it would be a good idea to enroll Eris into his school, that way she could make more friends her age but first, he would have to deal with those ears and tail of hers.

So instead to make Eris happy the girls decide to have their own little sleepover. And right now once he leaves the girls were going to have their fun night.

" ~Cough ~Cough~ Car Keys!" Cana who was just a few meters away coughed out loud. Ekko just rolled his eyes while throwing a pair of keys in her direction.

" Pick any car you want but if I come back and there's a scratch on any of my babies it's coming out of your paycheck." Ekko warned but Cana completely ignored his warning and immediately ran inside.

The girls already knew about the massive car garage in his basement and to say they were shocked when they first saw it would be an understatement.

But considering that a lot of the girls at the inn also had a few luxury cars they didn't see anything wrong with Ekko having them as well.

Though they did wonder how Ekko got so much money to buy them, but they didn't ask because it wasn't really their business to.

Though now because they knew of its existence every once in a while the girls would ask if they could borrow a car.

" I'll see you tomorrow Ran, Love you." Ekko said lovingly while kissing her and she responded in kind.

" Love you too." Rangiku said with a smile before waving him off.

Ekko had texted Gojo a day earlier to know if he was going to the school's event and since he was on the insistence of his grandpa he offered to give him a ride.

He accepted and so Ekko was making his way to where Gojo currently resided, which was his grandpa's Hina shop and home.

He was there because both of his parents had unfortunately passed away so he only had, his grandpa and his cousin left as family.

That's also something the two had in common with each other.

The bike sped down the roads as its roar captured the attention of those who were just idly walking by.

Finally, after a 15-minute ride, he made it to Gojo's residence.

Taking off his helmet and pulling out the bike's kickstand he slowly made his way to the front door where he pressed the doorbell twice.

And not long after an old gentleman-like voice sounded on the other side of the door." Hello Gojo residence how can I help you...huh?"

Kaoru Gojo, Gojo's Grandpa was the one to answer the door but what he didn't expect was to be greeted by a foreign-looking young man.

' Is he perhaps lost, mhh my English really isent that good, maybe Gojo can help this young man.' That's what he was thinking but in the next moment, he was shocked out of his thoughts.

" Good afternoon Mr. Gojo it's finally nice to meet you, I'm Ekko maken Afia, and I'm a friend of Gojo-san. I'm here to pick him up so we can go to the school event."

" Ah?? Oh I see so you are Gojo's friend, I had no idea please come in, Gojo is just getting ready now I'll tell him that you're here though." Grandpa gojo replied while inviting Ekko in.

' That was a surprise he's actually my Grandsons friend when I asked Gojo at the beginning of the school year if he had made any friends he couldn't even look me I the eye while saying he did."

Grandpa Gojo was a bit skeptical but was also happy that Gojo was finally coming out of his shell a bit.

" So how long have you and my Grsnddon been friends for." Grandpa Gojo asked in interest.

" Umm! Just around the start of the school year, he sits behind me in class. I'm new to this country so I really didn't know anyone here, but your grandson was really nice and kind and we just sort of hit it off." Ekko replied and his reply seemed to have satisfied his grandpa.

" Gojo your friend is here, are you ready yet." Grandpa Gojo shouted from downstairs but the next moment he and Ekko heard a loud crashing sound.

The two looked at each other in worry and confusion before Gojo came running in with a backpack and wearing his traditional Samue.

' Those look really comfortable, maybe I should have Ruben make some for me.' Ekko thought while looking at the out-of-breath Gojo.

" Haa~haaa, Sorry Afia-San I completely forgot you were picking me up today, I was so engrossed in my Hina doll-making that I...Bla bla bla..." Gojo continued to apologize and Ekko tried to calm him down.

But eventually, he did and grandpa Gojo seeing the two and how they interacted could tell this wasn't a ploy from Gojo to not make him worry about him, but that these two were friends.

" So are you ready to go?" Ekko asked.

" Ah, ye I'm ready, I'll be heading out then grandpa, ive already made food for tonight it's in the Fridge."

" Alright, I know stop worrying about this old bag of bones and make sure to have fun. And Afia-Kun, please take care of him."

" Will do Mr. G, cone on Gojo let's get going." Gojo nodded before the two headed outside the house.

" Huh? Ekko where is the car, or are we perhaps going by train." Gojo asked, confused as he thought they were going to go to school by taxi.

Ekko let out an evil smirk that spelled trouble with a capital T." We're not going by train or by Taxi." Ekko replied.

" T-then how are we going to get to school." Gojo answered hesitantly. He would soon come to regret agreeing to go with Ekko.

The sound of an engine roaring could be heard in the distance followed by the girlish screams of Wakana Gojo and the insanity-induced laughter of Ekko Makena Afia as he pulled a wheelie down the highway.

" HAHAHAHA~~"

" AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
