Teamwork

(AN: Sorry for the fight scenes in this chapter. It's not good...maybe?)

Kazuya was thrown back by the Amphisbaena, but luckily he landed on the ice. His feet slid through for a few meters before stopping.

"Phew! I thought I was done back then...Just kidding!" Kazuya grinned and dashed towards the Amphisbaena again, "Ais! Target it's right head first so Rivieria can use magic to fight it" He shouted before jumping towards the right head of the monster Rex.

"Nn!" Ais nodded, she understood that they need to cut off the right head of the monster rex first since it can blow out that annoying crimson most that diffuse magic.

Although, it's left head can attack with fire, they can still dodge it. But if they cut off it's right head, Riveria can help them with her magic to attack it together..

Swoosh! Swish!

Ais used her magic {Ariel} once again and jumped. She followed Kazuya who was nearing the right neck of Amphisbaena.

' {Sharp Edge} ' Kazuya used one of his enchant type magic on his sword and it started to be coated with magic. It's sharpness is now boosted due to it.

Slash! Swoosh! Roar!

Kazuya slashed the Amphisbaena's right neck and luckily it cut deep this time unlike when his fight with Goliath. That's because his magic reserve grew larger this he can put in more magic power to it boosting the sharpness of his sword.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

" {Lil Rafaga} " Ais said as she surrounds herself with {Ariel} and lunging towards the right neck that was also cut by Kazuya. She swung her sword, creating a large cut into the neck, it was almost cut off completely.

Roar!

The monster Rex howled in pain. Then using it's left head, it spewed out a blue flame to attack the two fighters, Kazuya and Ais, who just landed down.

The two quickly ran to the sides to avoid the flames. Unfortunately due to the flame, some ice were melted.

'Looks like I need to use 'it', or maybe not' Kazuya thought before dashing and jumping up towards the almost cut-off the right head. He was still using his weapon enchant-type magic along with body reinforcement magic since earlier.

Swoosh! Slash! Spurt!

He arrived at the right neck and slashed his sword, cutting it off completely. The left head of the Amphisbaena tried to bite him but he already jumped down.

"Nice! Riveria, magic support please!" Kazuya shouted after landing. "Ais, lets go distract it's left head!"

"Roger that!" Riveria answered, while Ais just nodded and started dashing off towards the left neck that just finished spewing out blue flames again.

Kazuya with Ais then started attacking the body of the Amphisbaena to distract it. And while attacking it, Kazuya was also chanting along with Riveria.

Ais was just silent following Kazuya to distract the monster, Rex. Of course, the monster Rex also retaliated and tried to bite them or slow fire.

It even called some monsters nearby, just like what happened when Bell fought off the black Goliath. Just like what's happening now,

Ais seeing the monsters appearing left to protect Riveria. Kazuya was then left alone distracting the Amphisbaena.

After some moments, Kazuya finished chanting and he turned to Riveria, she nodded meaning she also finished chanting.

Kazuya then retreated and went beside Riveria, then they both cast their magic.

" {Rea Laevateinn} " " {Inferno!} "

Boom! Boom! Boom!

After their magic was cast, explosions were heard and the Amphisbaena was killed by them. After some moments, Ais also finished killing the monsters that appeared.

Some moments later, the smoke due to the explosion of their magic slowly disappeared and the Amphisbaena was nowhere to be seen. Only it's magic crystal and some drop items left.

"Haaa...Finally, this is my second time fighting a floor boss. Luckily, you two are with me and I was not alone like last time. Otherwise, I would've a difficult time defeating it" Kazuya said towards his two companions.

"Well, we are too since we couldn't possibly defeat such a strong monster when it's just me and Ais" Riveria said, "But, are you really level 3? I mean, we need a party of high level adventurer to kill such a strong floor boss you know? But now, we defeated it with just three."

"Ahahaha, don't mind the small stuff, Riveria" Kazuya laughed trying to avoid for Riveria to ask more questions, "Oh, I think we should go up now and stay at Rivira for a bit. You two look exhausted..." He continued and glanced at his companions.

They were breathing heavily, well the fight was quite tiring after all. They just fought a freaking floor boss with only three people. Of course they're tired a bit, Kazuya just have an abnormal amount of stamina.

And so after resting a bit, they started going up and they stayed at Rivira to rest again. Then after which they went out of the dungeon.

And with that, another day has passed for Kazuya.
