Anna's action caused this awkward silence between George and her. Anna was confused and at the same time gloomy.
It was at this moment she realized that the kiss to George was the kiss he had always wanted with the woman he loved but to her who wasn't the original Anna, it was her first kiss and she just expressed herself.
George noticed Anna. Her expression was loud and he hated the way Anna was reacting. He hated the sudden silence and the atmosphere.
So George went closer to Anna. He moved even closer to Anna on the couch and grabbed her face. "Look at me, Anna," said George calmly.
Anna did look into his eyes. "I didn't hate the kiss," he said. "And if it was your first kiss, will you tell me how it was? Was I good?" George's positive action made Anna want to open up to him.
Anna only looked into his eyes as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
