Showbiz 10-Bills

Gian looked at the crowd of men and women with astonishment. When Marbella joined the queue and was followed by Lux behind her, a commotion immediately broke out.

"Oh, Young master Lux! Y-you're here?" asked a male employee who only noticed when a purple-haired man walked past him.

"It seems that you've had a hard day to have your speech messed up like that. Of course, I'm here. Do you think I'm a ghost?" asked Lux with an irritated face.

The man looked puzzled, but his eyeballs moved swiftly as if he wanted to confirm if the one he saw was Lux Osiris.

"Wow, did you hear that? Young master Lux is talking," whispered a woman to her coworker.

"W-Were you in line for coffee?" asked another employee.

Gian looked at the faces of the people looking at him full of question marks. "You guys are really troubled. Move aside, I'll do it," Lux replied as he shook his head and walked to the front of the line.

The employees who were waiting in line stared at Lux's figure intently, talking to the waitress who served as the cashier of the shop. He seemed to be usurping the queue, but the people let him.

"Marbella! What are you doing there? Hurry up and get over here!" Lux asked, causing the woman, dressed like a young executive, to come running towards him.

"Yes, Young master Lux."

"Take care of the bill. My treat," Lux said, making these people surprised.

"Y-you bought us coffee?" asked an employee in amazement.

Lux nodded slowly. "I bought all kinds of coffee and bread in this shop. Order whatever you want."

The wrinkled faces due to the pressure of work and overtime that they felt, seemed to disappear just like that.

"That's very kind of you, Young master Lux," said one of the male employees, touched.

"I'll invite you to lunch sometime," he added, causing several employees to immediately approach him with beaming faces.

In an instant, Lux Osiris was surrounded by people. Marbella panicked, worried that her young master might be hurt, but Lux looked relaxed and even gave some people cups of coffee he had ordered.

"Thank you, Young Master Lux!" exclaimed a female employee as she received the iced coffee with tears in her eyes.

'Just a cup of coffee makes them happy. The power of coffee is amazing!' Gian praised in his heart.

[It's you, not the coffee]

"He? Really?"

Suddenly, TING! TING! TING! TING!

Lux's eyes widened as he saw 'love' signs appear on the heads of numerous employees.

"Woah! So many! Has my target been met?" he screeched happily which made some employees who were still waiting in line to get free coffee confused.

[Congratulations, you got 22 people. The remaining target is 75 people. 6 days left]

Gian is getting excited. He saw that the crowd on the floor was about 60 people. He was ambitious to get them all so that his mission would be completed quickly.

"Sit down, I'll deliver the coffee when it's finished. You don't have to stand in line, Ma'am," Lux said to a woman who looked to be in her fifties.

"Oh, that's very kind of you, Young master Lux. This is our first time talking," she was moved.

Gian pulled up a stool for her. Many young ladies were impressed by the friendliness of their mayor's son. Like a virus, the news that Lux treated all the employees on the third floor, caused a stir. Some employees from the first, second, and fourth floors, desperately came to the third floor to prove the truth.

"Young master Lux, we'd better leave immediately. This place is getting crowded," Marbella pleaded frantically.

However, Gian considers it a gift. "Free coffee for everyone! Don't run out!" Lux exclaimed, which made everyone even more excited.

Gian, who saw that his love sign was getting more and more, didn't care about Marbella's warning. He even blended in with the crowd. Lux chatted with many people. He didn't care, even though the conversation was just small talk. He only wanted to complete the mission.

"Young master, ouch!"

Lux immediately turned his head and saw Marbella falling down because she was pushed by the employees who didn't want to run out of free coffee. The handsome man with purple hair swiftly came to Marbella and helped her up.

"Enjoy the coffee, Guys. Sorry, we have to go. Have a good day at work!" he exclaimed, inviting Marbella, who was limping due to a sprained ankle.

"Thank you, Young Master Lux!" the people shouted, making Lux's smile widen.

TING! TING! TING!

[Well done, Gian. You only need 25 more people to complete the first mission]

"I'm great," he praised himself in the elevator.

"Ouch," Marbella complained which made Gian immediately turn to her.

"Oh, you sprained it! And... your shoe ...."

Marbella looked in pain. Gian saw that the heel of Marbella's shoe was broken. As she massaged her sore ankle, she was stunned when he took off her shoe and put the footwear into his coat pocket.

"Oh!" surprised the people as the elevator door on the first floor opened and saw Lux carrying Marbella.

"Is... there is a clinic in this place? Marbella's leg is sprained," Lux asked calmly as he stepped out.

"Young master Lux!" exclaimed someone in the distance who was running towards him.

"Ah, Yoga! You're just in time! Take us to the hospital. Marbella's leg is sprained," Lux pleaded to which Yoga nodded. "Sorry, we're leaving first. Have a nice day," he greeted the group of employees as he walked away.

"Oh, he's so kind. I want to be carried by him too," said a female employee wishing.

TING! TING! TING!

Lux's smile widened. He knew that he was getting another sign of love.

'Yes, my target is decreasing! Just a little more. Be patient, Justin!' he said excitedly as he carried Marbella.

Yoga swiftly brought them to a hospital which turned out to be managed by one of Lux's older sisters. Marbella received special treatment because she was one of the important people in the Osiris family.

"Young master. You have to meet with the clients in an hour," said Marbella anxiously as Lux accompanied her in the ICU room.

"Then, I will leave. You stay here. I'll ask Rowi to follow and accompany you."

"No! You can—ugh!" she whimpered as she tried to get off the bed and even made her almost fall down.

"Bad girl!" Lux screeched as he flicked Marbella's forehead with his finger.

The woman was stunned when Lux laid her back on the bed. The people in the room stared at both of them intently. "Trust me. I can solve it," Lux said as he held out his hand. Marbella was confused. "Borrow your tablet. I need it." Marbella took out her tablet from the bag. She erased the keyword so that Lux could open it at any time. "Thank you," he said to which Marbella nodded with a flat face. As Lux stepped away accompanied by Yoga, the purple-haired man suddenly stopped and turned his body around. "Oh, don't forget. Pay the bill. Okay?" he added in his signature style.

Marbella was puzzled, but happy for the small attention from her young master. "I trust you, Young master Lux," she said with a smile though afterward, that smile disappeared as a message came in on her cell phone. "What! 2,000 Boll (equivalent to 2,000 USD)!" Marbella squealed when she got the bill for the purchase of coffee for all the employees in the mayor's office.

Secretly, Maximo Osiris watched from the CCTV monitor connected to the television in his office. He saw his employees so happy just because of a free cup of coffee from Lux. Maximo squinted when he saw his son joyfully distributing coffee to the employees. He then activated his cell phone and sent a text message. "5LX."

"My pleasure, Sir," came the reply that made Maximo smile wryly.
