"Shawn!. Come help me with the house work"

"Coming mum!" Shawn shouted.

"I just have to finish this conquest campaign,"

"Shawn!"

"Oh forget it, I'll do it later." he thought before shouting "Coming mum! " and clicking on the save button of the game.

Shawn Roland was 14 years old. He was a lover of kingdom games,world building games and role playing games. He played worldbuilding games such as Godus, The Universim, Worldbox, Deism and many more.

He was literally a freak when it came to those.

His family wasn't that rich but they were above average level.

So when he saw a game called Creator Sim that came out, he was ecstatic and immediately downloaded the game.

After washing the dishes, Shawn returned to continue playing a kingdom building conquest campaign.

"When will you grow up young man? Stop wasting your time playing games" Shawn's mum, Emily complained.

"You don't understand mum. It feels great to make your own creatures and watch how they live and evolve and also control them or order them to rule" Shawn replied.

She refuted him "Watch how they live when their watcher doesn't even know how to read and have control over his,"

"Oh come on mum can you not start this now? I'm still trying to complete the conquest campaign" Young Shawn pleaded.

"Young Man. Go finish your homework"

"I've already done that"

"Then do some exercises"

"But why do I have to?"

"Go do it or I'll make you do it," she glared at him.

Shawn, who knew that it was better not to test the waters, dropped his phone and went to the study room of the house. Apparently, the exercises that he had to work was a mathematics topic.

Although, he understood the topic. His mum understood him more. If he didn't practice the knowledge that he claimed to understand, it would become blurry in his memory. He was smart but he didn't have a photographic memory.

She left the dining room and went to her bedroom to take a quick nap. After all, she was overworked and decided to sleep off.

But before she did, she forgot about Shawn's phone that she was supposed to take and keep till he was done studying.

When she left ,the door to the study room slowly opened and Shawn, who had forgotten that he needed a pen, saw his phone and smiled. "The heavens must be smiling at me" he thought as he went to the table to take the phone.

He also found a pen to use in case his mum arrived in the study room and he made it look like he was busy.

He went inside the study room and closed the door. He brought out his phone and logged into the game Godus. He was playing the game when he received a notification that the game creatorsim was fully downloaded.

He clicked the game and was impressed at the graphics. "No wonder it required a lot of my data to download, 450 mb in total"

"*Do you want to undergo a tutorial?*

"Yes!"

But as the game was about to continue a hand appeared in front of him and took the phone.

"Mum!" he yelled.

"Playing games when it's study time" Emily shook her head.

"But,"

"No buts" She cut him off. "It's time that your game addiction is kept under control" she then grasped the phone and left.

"No!" Shawn yelled.

"Also I'm keeping this phone till the next weekend"

"Mom!"

"Next two weekends"

"Mom!"

"A month. If I hear mom again"

"Please momma" said Shawn as he looked at her with puppy eyes that couldn't form.

"Don't momma me. You brought this on yourself. Now you'll face the consequences"

And with those words, Emily left the room.

"How did she get in?" Shawn thought as he looked at the door and smacked his head hard. "I didn't lock jt" he scolded himself.

And the next second he heard the door lock.

"You're staying in there till lunch time"

At that moment, Shawn just had one word "Mothers". "She really wouldn't open the door till lunch time" he thought as he looked at the clock on the wall "Currently it's 11:00". Lunch starts at "14:00"(They use 24 hour time). So I'll just be here reading for three hours"

He sat on the chair and took a book. "How to work questions involving math equations"

"Now to that topic"

Nighttime.

"She hid that phone. Ohh my poor phone! " Shawn almost cried in his sleep.

Eventually, "I'll plead with her tomorrow" He told himself before he pulled his blanket and slept off.

When he opened his eyes instead of being inside his room he saw a huge notification board in front of him. "What is this?" He questioned.

His question was eventually answered by a mechanical voice.

[Host is beginning tutorial]

"Wait, is this that game?"

The mechanical voice answered him with a new text.

[Welcome to Creator Sim]

"Wait, what is a game doing in my sleep? Did I die in my sleep? No, that's impossible!" he began panicking.

[Choose the nature of your world. This is useful in how your world will look]

In front of Shawn were a bunch of options with their names. There were;

Flat world, Round World, Box World, Triangular World, Cross world.

"What the hell is going on? Why is there a freaking game in my head? This must all be a dream!"

After having a monologue with himself for a long time. He finally gave up trying to reason it out.

"*Sigh*. It is not supposed to end like this. Hope this doesn't affect mum that much"

He then shook his head.

"What bullshit I'm i saying? It'll affect her badly. I really need to go back and wake up. This is all a dream!"

"Why now. I've not even met my future wife and had future kids. I can't die now!"

[Host should be quick to choose so as to complete the tutorial]

"Would you shut your f****** mouth up. Can't you see that I'm not in the mood"

[Even if you are not in the mood till eternity you'll still have to complete the tutorial]

[I apologize for the host's loss but please...]

The system then continued

[Just complete the tutorial]

"Hmph. Fine. Nothing can be done about it anyways. Better live my new life playing a game for all eternity" said Shawn as he felt an urge to choke.

Shawn looked at the options before asking "What's a cross world?"

[A cross world is a world that has its four corners extending from the center and not linked to the other corners of the world except through the center]

"I'll stick to a round world" He made up his mind even though he desperately wanted to try others.

After choosing, three options appeared in front of him.

[Ding, Choose the path of this world. Is it a magical, industrial, or custom world?]

"Of course I'll choose a magical world," he said.

Another bunch of options appeared in front of him.

[Do you want the world to have a system also or to go anywhere it goes?]

"System is allowed in my world"

[Should the world have levels?]

"Yes"

[Do you want the world to have a single energy to use or multiple energies?]

"Multiple energies"

[Choose or make two energies for now. More energies can be unlocked after host completes task]

"There are tasks?"

[Of course the host cannot just be a boring creator with nothing to do]

"For a system you sure talk a lot"

[It is my duty to inform you about things you should know]

"Using a mechanical sassy voice at me"

[Of course. Now just finish the tutorial]

"Yeah yeah, whatever"

There were many options on the energy to choose from there was also the create your own energy option but it was locked.

Seems like I'll keep that energy I thought of in mind till I unlock it.

Shawn chose mana energy as the first one and clicked the second one to be physical energy. (Energy used for improving the body's abilities)as stated by the quote under it.

[Loading... new energy. Implementing into the world]

[Tutorial beginning...]

[Lord Shawn. You are the creator of this world.]

[Currently your world is completely empty with nothing inside. Use the creators tab to create the landscape, terrains and other attributes of the world. So your first task is to make the landscape of your world.]

A new tab appeared in front of Shawn.

[Define how your world should be and look like by drawing on the interface tab. When you are done defining you can make adjustments and confirm before proceeding to the next task of the tutorial]

"Alright then" Shawn cracked his knuckles and started touching the screen to draw his ideal world. After a few hours of touching and tapping, he smiled.
