Chapter 70: Mermaid

Atria broke the pen in her hand, her eyes turned cold. Lyra heard the crack and was about to ask when someone knock on the door.

*knock knock knock*

"Come in," Lyra said

Her Secretary came in, "miss someone is looking for you" she said

Lyra raised her eyebrows since she was not expecting someone. "Who?" she asks shortly

"He said his name is Shin" the secretary looked at the name on her tab

"Shin.... I don't know who he is. What's his purpose?" Lyra was confused she had never known anyone with a name Shin

"He said he wanted to talk to you"

"Send him in" Lyra wanted to know what he wants to talk about

Atria who was listening clenched her fist hard that her hand turned white it was bloodless.

'That bastard just won't stop don't he' Atria gritted her teeth inwardly

A few minutes later, the door opened and a man wearing a suit came in. Shin saw Atria beside Lyra at her table reading some documents.

Lyra looked at the man and didn't have any impression.

"Your Mr. Shin right" Lyra raised her eyebrow

"Yes my name is Shin nice to finally meet you, Miss Lyra," Shin said softly his eyes were affectionately looking at her

Lyra saw the look in his eyes and was somehow disgusted, her face immediately turned cold, and her smile disappeared. She doesn't want other people looking at her like that except her Atria.

Shin saw her face turned cold and was nervous did he do something wrong? Why is she angry? Did I say something wrong?. He had questions in his mind.

"Go straight to the point Mr. shin as you can see I'm busy," Lura said coldly

"I...I was wondering if Miss Lyra would like to have dinner with me tonight" Shin said nervously

Atria almost rush to punch him if it were not for Thana's warning she would have beat him on the spot. Lyra frowned and the temperature went down to 10 degrees.

"I'm sorry Mr. Shin but I already have a lover," Lyra said

*Bang*

Lyra's words were like thunder and lightning that strike his heart, his mind went blank and he was in a daze. He was too shocked to find out that she had a lover.

Atria almost laughed at his facial reaction, while thana was laughing out loud in her mind.

Atria calmed herself down so she can't laugh, the hero was shocked, and then when he regained his senses. His eyes widen in disbelief and his shoulders were trembling.

"W..who is it?" Shin said hoarsely

Lyra frowned "Why would I tell you, I don't know you," she said

Adding more pain in the male leads to his heart, Shin bowed his head and his fist was clenched.

"Since we have nothing to talk about please leave" Lyra was ruthless he disturb and wasted their time in useless talk

Shin didn't move and so Lyra had to call the security and took him out of the company. Shin just come to his senses when he was already outside the company.

"I'll make sure your mine Lyra no one can take you away from me" Shin looked at the top level of the company and then left.

Thana and Atria were watching the Cctv panel and heard what he said. "Let's see about that" she sneered and turn the CCTV off.

"Baby, I'm angry" Atria pouted

Lyra heard her and turn her head sideways her lover is pouting cutely, she gave her a deep kiss before asking.

"Why are you angry?" She caresses her cheeks softly

"That man wanted to have dinner with you and I felt something hurt in my chest" Atria took her hand and put it on her chest.

Lyra knows she was hurt, she was also very dissatisfied with that man. Atria pulled her closer and kissed her passionately.

"Aammm"

Lyra let out a small moan, her hands around her neck, and pull her closer. Their tongues fought for dominance which Atria won.

They parted after a few minutes of kissing, Lyra felt her body soften and leaned on her lover for support. Atria happily sit on her lap and continue to read and scan the document.

For the whole day, Lyra taught Atria everything she needed to know. She was quite surprised that she learn fast, she was also reporting it to her parents.

The parents are amazed and they decided to let her handle an S-level contract with the Zhou family. In the original story, the Zhou family was one of the most powerful and richest families in the world.

Shin also had this contract in him but he blew it off causing Lyra's family company to receive an impact and lose money their stocks went down about 10%.

This made the couple angry and didn't give him any more high-ranking contracts.

Lyra and Atria arrived back home at the old parents are sitting on the sofa in the living room waiting for them.

"Mom Dad we're home," Lyra said we walked towards them and sat on the opposite side

"Welcome home" L's mom smiled

"I heard you did a good job in the company today" L Dad ask

"Yes Dad I learned a lot" Atria nodded happily

"Then how about we test then" L's dad sat leisurely on the sofa

"What kind of test dad" Atria tilts her head sideways

"Tomorrow we have a contract signing with the Zhou family and I want you to sign the contract with them," L's dad said seriously

"What... But dad didn't they reject us last time" Lyra frowned

"That's why they are giving us a second chance, so I want my future daughter in law to prove herself" L dad was really serious

When Lyra was about to speak Atria held her hand and look at L's dad.

"Okay ill take it" Atria nodded seriously

"But baby..." Lyra was about to stop her

"Baby believe in me" Atria caressed her hand

Lyra bit her lower lip and nodded, after a while they discuss. That night Lyra was worried that she can't fall asleep.

"Baby sleep it's late" Atria kissed her forehead and hugged her in her embrace

"But baby I'm worried," Lyra said in a low tone

"Don't worry baby ill definitely get the contract" Atria assured

"Now sleep, baby" Atria hugged her closer

Lyra decided to trust her and slowly she fell into a deep sleep.

In order to get his place in the business world, Shin shamelessly asks the woman who gave him a lot of money and an opportunity to sign a contract with the Zhou family.
