Chapter 17: Apocalypse

(Su Meng POV)

Thana and i are setting up a plan to get revenge. In the original story after Pei Wei read the letter from his parents. Zombies started attacking the base with his helped they were able to over come the wave making him the commander of the special army after the former commander died protecting the other soldier's.

"Su why did you want to go to X base"

"Captain after the apocalypse i was entrusted by a dying doctor saying i should send this to Dr. Mark in X base" i said since it's the true when i was looking for a base i came across a doctor who was on the verge of being a zombie and entrusted the letter to me.

"I see... How about you Nan Yue"

"I'm looking for someone"

She said simply not minding Pei's reaction i smiled at her, he didn't notice it since he was looking at the road.

We drove for a few hours and stop by a shop took out my sword and made my way through slashing every zombie who came near. I wanted to try my martial arts skill so i put my sword back and read my fist. A zombie came and punch the zombie hard making it exploded the blood and rotten flesh got to me and i was covered.

Hearing what exploded Pei and Nan Yue came to me and saw me completely covered in blood.

"Su are you okay"

"I'm fine I'll just go and took a bath"

I said as i went to the bathroom the shop has a shower room for staff's, upon entering i immediately removed my clothes and took a bath removing all the blood and disgusting flesh that was on my head.

I scrub myself clean then went out the bath with only a sports bra on top and long pants on my lower body. As i got out the shower i saw Nan Yue waiting outside.

"Baby why are here"

"Honey i was wait---------"

She didn't finish her sentence as she was looking at me, she was as covering her mouth and her face was red.

"Baby what's wrong...ehhh"

Before i could finish my sentence she near me her hands were touching my stomach as if caressing it. I was holding back and not to take her here, holding her hand

"Baby not now"

I said softly seeing her eyes being filled with lust i kiss her passionately for a minute then immediately put on a shirt. Seeing my body she immediately became horny was she holding back when we take a bath together.

"Baby let's go"

"Mmmm"

She noded she had calm down now and we went out the staff room and Pei was waiting for us at the entrance of the store.

"Sorry for making for wait"

"It's fine let's go"

I stored the supplies we gathered and went on our way while driving through the forest it was already night time when...

"Rrrrooooaaaarrrrr"

Immediately looking at the window i saw level 6 zombie king coming after us.

"It's a level 6 zombie king it's on our tail"

"Damn it why would a zombie king suddenly appeared"

He said as he step on the accelator speeding up but the zombie king was still behind us.

"Captain continue driving the car I'll hold him off" opening the shaft above the car.

"What are you crazy that's a level 6 zombie king" Pei said not agreeing

"Su if your going to fight then we will too" Nan Yue said holding my arm.

"Captain, Nan Yue please trust me on this" i said desperately then went out the shaft

"Honey do you want to kill yourself y..you still have a promise to keep" Nan Yue said sobbing with only her head out the shaft.

"Baby i will keep my promise and I won't kill myself okay when I'm done I'll come find in X base." i said then kiss her lips i might not kiss for a while. Pei can't hear what we are saying because he is concentrating on the road.

"Baby when you arrived at X base go to the hospital and give this to Dr. Mark" i said as i hand her a letter.

"I love you baby" i said as i jump down the car landing on the ground Nan Yue was looking at crying and saw her lips move "You better come back to me or else i will kill when we meet again in our next life" i was amushed by her. As i saw the car disappearing farther away from me, then looked at the zombie king i smiled in satisfaction.

[Host you want to fight this zombie king badly]

"Thana I didn't have even displayed my full strength yet besides i want to surprise my future wife a beautiful base for us and future kids hehehehe"

[Hehehe I can't wait to see your children in this world]

"Heheh be sure to take a picture again"

[Of course host]

Thana and I were talking about the base totally ignoring the zombie king running towards me. The zombie king jumped and with his fist clenched and smashed it hard to me.

Sensing his presence i just stepped to the side the ground i was previously standing became gravels.

"My oh my didn't your parents teach you not to disturb when someone is talking, your being rude"

I said holding the sword on my hand, it growled swing his right hand jumping up i step lightly on his arm.

"Your quite fast for a zombie your size"

Then he used his left hand to swat me like a mosquito.

*Slapppp*

"Your quite a hot tempered zombie"

I said holding my sword above my head stopping the hand from reaching me. Then use a bit of strength a repel his hand away. Jumping down the ground he tried to smash me again.

"Hey hey hey it's my turn now your being unfair"

I was having fun playing with this zombie while Thana was watching on the side with a popcorn cheering her host. Running towards the zombie i hold my sword vertically and slash it towards the zombie. His left hand was separated from his body almost like butter i frown.

"I thought your strong enough to take my sword but it easily cut your arm are you really a level 6 zombie king"

I said complaining and i heard Thana laughing ugghhhh it the original story level 6 zombie king was strong enough to withstand bullets, arrows and sharp objects thier skin is hard to penetrate. Or maybe because my sword is superb putting my sword back, i ready my fist.

"Roooaaarrrr

"How about we fight fist to fist"

The zombie punch straight towards me i also punch his fist our fist collide together. The ground shoock and cracked underneath our feet dust covered us. Thana was anticipating who won as the dust cleared out, two figures are standing with thier fists collided.

"Rraaaoooortrrr"

*Crack*

The zombie king roar in pain the bones in his whole arm made a cracking sound, the bone shattered the muscles broke and blood was running out of his arm.

"My my you can't move your arm anymore"

I said looking at the zombie king who was enraged he can't

use both his arms. He growled angrily and called the lower zombies in the surrounding place.

"Geez your unfair there's a lot of you and I'm by myself heheheh how about i summon my friend"

Then i summoned a golem my size it was made of metal and the was shape was like a person he had a face and body.

"Heheheh it's just us two vs zombies"

The lower zombies all run towards us the golem created a earth sword in his hand and started brutally slashing showing no mercy. Blood was flying all over the place i was watching the golem killing the zombies not letting one pass.

"Go go go golem you can do it"

[Leave no one behind go golem-kun]

Thana and i both cheered at the golem who was in the front row fighting, we are both eating popcorn while watching. The lower zombies didn't stand a chance and died on his blade this enraged the zombie king even more he jumped in the sky.

"Ooohhhhhh it's the legendary jump smash"

I said excitedly looking at the zombie king falling down at high speed then hit the ground hard. Dusts was flying the lower zombies died as the ground shook violently.

"Damn that got to hurt"

Before he hit the ground the golem came infront of me and created a wall to protect me. I felt the ground shook as he landed, the golem then put down the wall and dust covered the place but with my night vision skill. I could clearly see that the zombie king was injured he was all bloody and tired.

"Tsk tsk...I can't believe you sacrifice your minions just to kill me"

I said walking towards the place he landed "rrrrooooaaarrrr" the zombie roared as if he want to kill me.

"Well i had fun playing with you now it's think to end your misery"

Then the golem rushed to the zombie king with ridiculous speed slashing his head like butter.

*Pooook pooook*

I heard fireworks poping and Thana clapping inside my head

[Congratulations host]

'heheheheh'

Then took out the car i used before

"Oh how i miss my car" said exaggerating as i went inside the golem sat on the roof of the car as i watch out. I drove the opposite direction to where Pei drove.

(Pei's Wei POV)

I didn't heard what they were talking about as i concentrate driving the car at fast speed were in a forest and there's a lot of tree on the way.

Then i notice Nan Yue sat down crying and i didn't see Su i looked at the side mirror outside the car i saw her jump out and landed on the ground waving at us. I grip the steering wheel tightly i felt pathetic I'm so weak Su sacrifice herself so we can escape.

'Dont worry Su I'll be sure to take Nan Yue back to the base safely' i vowed as i kept looking at the rear mirror looking at Nan Yue buried her face on her knees. But something caught my eye that was the ring on her left hand.

I didn't even notice that she was wearing a ring most importantly on her promise finger. 'Is she and Su a couple' 'Or did someone promise her' 'Was she going to X base to look for the person who gave her the ring'. A lot of thoughts was running on my mind about her ring i want to ask but she's crying, it made me depressed.

*Before Su left she brought out the foods store in her space. For them to eat on the way*

The drive to the base was silent Nan Yue didn't speak she emotionlessly and blankly stare outside the window. 'Shes been silent for a long time, Su must her only relative since they were alone together when we meet them' he thought convincing himself and forget what he thought earlier.

"Nan Yue don't be sad I know she can make it"

I said comforting her but I'm not sure myself if she really survived that zombie king. Nan Yue didn't speak ignoring him but he didn't he angry he believe that slowly she will cheer up. He started his plan to make Nan Yue fell for him so during this ride he would talk to her.

Though he was ignored to would talk about anything ranging from food, school and life style.

Nan Yue didn't bother responding to him she put a plug on her ear made of her ice. She has a lot on her mind she was worried, angry and her heart was in pain she knows she trust Su but part of her was fightened what if she can't survive what about her promise. Her mind was in chaos she was about to lose her mind when a picture of her smiling at me appeared on my mind calming me down. She took a deep breath and count to ten, her calm down and choose to wait. 'If you make me wait for too long I won't forgive you' she thought

They have been driving for a long time and arrived at an abandoned city there were no zombies around so they easily got through.

"Nan Yue are you hungry there's food there in the back get something to eat okay, I'm sure Su would be mad if she knew that you won't eat"

I said this and saw her get food behind and also handed me a sandwich my smile reach both my ears.

"Thank you"

Happily said as i took the sandwich and savor the taste it was so delicious. He was happy and was in a good mood the whole time.

Nan Yue saw this and she remembered her fiance saying that that the captain liked her, looking closely at his reaction she didn't have any interest on this person. She kept quite then she held her fiance's jacket that she left and hug it to sleep. She felt safe when she smell her comforting scent so she hug the jacket tightly as she lay on the back of the chair slowly falling asleep.

Pei who was looking at her in the rear mirror, it was the first time he saw her sleeping face it was so cute like an angel. He didn't notice that she was holding Su's jacket he was happy he got a chance to look at her sleeping face.
