Ancient route

"Why do they still have to lock us in the cell again," Muyang asked angrily

"Of course, they're afraid you will want to escape," Fu replied

"Escape??With all the sect barriers, they must be kidding me," Juan said

"Only if I could kill those useless guards guarding this damn prison, they both seem pompous since the day they've been watching us," Muyang said

"Kill them, and get ready to be killed also," Ya replied as she laughed

"I made you laugh, you look so beautiful when you laugh my princess," Muyang said softly

"Enough of the love drama please," Juan said as she cleared her throat

"Why do you have to be such a bone in the neck, were you sent to me?" Muyang asked angrily

"I will only stop being a bone in your neck once you stop flirting with my princess," Juan replied scornfully

"Flirting? When did I do any of that? Just tell me if you're jealous of two lovers because you don't have one," Muyang said laughing hysterically

"Jealous of what? You better stop flirting with her, that's all I have to tell you loser!" Juan said

"It's enough guys, why can't you two get along for once," Fu said

"I'll rather be all by myself, than getting along with this witch," Muyang said laughing hysterically

"Wait till I eat you when we get out of here then, I'll gladly show you the power of a witch, you loser," Juan said scornfully

"Enough guys, It's okay, let's just wait till tomorrow and start our mission, that's what is important right now," Ya said as they all nodded in affirmation

They all watched till night fall as they're all afraid to fall asleep, they know the task they'll be going for is a very difficult one

Back at the palace of the king of the Zambe sect, aunt Huiying can be seen talking to the queen one corner both seated on their seat, and the priest and chiefs can be seen seated discussing with the king .

"Your highness, all the preparation had been made,"The priest said

"Good! Then they should set off tomorrow,"The king said

"Yes my king, but there's a problem,"

"And what's that?" The king asked with a worried expression as the chiefs were also waiting for an answer

"The ancient wall can only last for four month, the princess and her friends have to finish their tasks before it collapses or else they won't be able to return to the "Zambe" sect ever again," the priest said

"Isn't there another way priest? Remember! your son Muyang is also going on the task,"

"I know your highness, but that's the only way they can get to the human world, and the good news is, four month over here is 4yrs in the human world, so they should be able to finish the task by then," the priest said with a good reason to back up the ancient route closing up

"Oh...that's good then, they gat enough time.Thank you priest,"said the king relieved

"But we gat another problem your highness,"

"What problem again priest?"the king asked rather looking worried

"We have no idea what the ancient route set for them to accomplish their goals, we don't know the plot of the story yet your highness and the mortal appearing here is just an indication about the trial start,he doesn't even have any idea about being here,it's his spirit the princess came across,so others accompanying the princess to the trial are just like weeds which would be uprooted soon,"said the priest

"Oh..well,they'll face whatever they come across please," replied the king

"Alright your highness, we just have to wait for the right time so that they can start the trial ," the priest said as the king nodded in affirmation

Huiying,Ya's aunt had been eavesdropping since the king and the priest started their conversation and had gathered all the information.

"My queen, I will have to go now," she said to the queen as she made her way out of the palace all the way to the prison .She casted a spell on the guards which made them fall into a deep sleep as she made her way into the prison

"Aunty!! What are you doing here?"Ya exclaimed and also asked as she saw her aunt coming towards her

"There's no time for long chat, you guys are going tomorrow morning and the shocking news is that, the king and priest doesn't even know how the plot would be," Huiying said worriedly

"I said it, they just want to kill us..isn't it better to just make it snappy here than going to that other world," Juan said

"We're going to a world we know nothing about, we have no idea how the story plot is, how are we supposed to find the intruder then?" Muyang asked

"They should just kill us than making life difficult for us again, all these trouble all because of just one intruder, I swear to the gods, if not because this task will allow my princess to reach the state of immortality, I'll just kill myself and end it all," Juan said angrily

"I just came here to say the final goodbye guys, remember! your magical powers would be taken away from you so please you have to take care of yourself," Huiying said as she made her way out of the prison gate before the guards regain consciousness

At exactly 12pm in the midnight, two guards opened the cell gates and led Ya and her friends to the ancient route.The king, priest, queen and chiefs were all present as the priest start to cast some spells

"Is the task starting now," Muyang asked with a worried expression

The priest starts to touch them one by one as they felt that their powers were been taken from them

"Oh, father just leave some to me," Muyang said facing the priest who paid no attention to his words

Soon enough, their powers were taken as the guards stood them up to the entry of the ancient route

'So this is where that human came from the other time 'Ya thought

"You can go in one by one now"the priest said

"Let's meet up in the other world," Juan said as she took the lead and vanished into the route

Muyang and Fu took turn and then the princess, and they were out of sight as the route closed ...
