Transmigrated Into Anime World as Kiyoko Shimizu's Older Brother

A man from our world died and transmigrated as Hiroyuki Hori, the half-brother of Kiyoko Shimizu from the manga Haikyuu. But this is not only the Haikyuu world. Here he is the rival of Ashirogi Muto and Eiji Niizuma in Shonen Jump, meets the Quintuplets, and even gets involved in Totsuki Culinary School's conflict. What's more? This story will contain a lot of anime/manga characters, but there will be no action in this story, so you can expect that the characters will come from a lot of slice-of-life anime/manga. However, this will be an AU story, so you can expect a lot of different things from the anime List of Anime that I thought will be in this story: -Haikyuu -Shokugeki no Soma -Bakuman -The Quintessential Quintuplets ALTERNATIVE PLATFORM TO READ THIS STORY: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14140048/ If you have any ideas or suggestions, leave them in the comment section. Chapter 19

"Well, now I will explain the biggest problem in your team, your first year."

I can see all of the first years straightened their sit, with Yamaguchi and Hinata gulped nervously, Kageyama glared at me, and Tsukishima just stared with his bored eyes. I chuckled inwardly at their expression but decided to not mention it.

"Okay, I will start with the blocker, the four-eyes." Tsukishima rolled his eyes at my nickname. "You are a good middle blocker, capable of reading the game. But you are way too thin. The samurai and the baldy here will be able to overwhelm your block easily. You need to eat and work out more." Tsukishima snorted and rolled his eyes once again. I think he has already heard the same thing over and over again.

"And one thing that I noticed, is your hesitation. There are several plays I noticed that you could do better, but you held yourself back. And by the look of your eyes, I think you are aware of this, right?" He seems surprised by what he heard.

"I don't know what is the reason for your holding back, so I can only guess about it. Maybe it is because of a traumatic injury, maybe it is because you don't want to shine, or maybe because you don't want to think volleyball is something you should do it seriously, and you did it only to pass your time and have fun." By this time, everyone looked at Tsukishima ridiculously, but I ignored it for now. Well, to be honest, I know what is his reason based on the manga, but I am not supposed to know about it right now.

"All of them are valid reasons mind you, and you have the right to think like that. No one can blame you if you want to focus on something else and play volleyball just for fun. But you better come clean to your teammates before it creates problems not only for your teammates but also for you." Tsukishima sighed defeatedly and nodded, so I decided to leave his problem to his teammates.

"Now the pinch server." The one I mentioned, Yamaguchi, gulped. "Well, it is clear that you just learned your floating serve recently. You have to improve that so you can aim everywhere on the court, and you need to learn another trick to score from serve. You can do like Kenma by aiming at a tricky spot or do something more unpredictable like throwing your serve right after the whistle blows.

You need to be more creative, combining the floating serve with another trick will do you wonder. You can see from the match earlier how I messed with your team by combining my floating serve with the powerful one right?" He nodded. "You can do that too. As long as you are able to score as many as possible from the serve, you have done your job wonderfully. And for your playing style, believe or not, I can see me when I was joining Nekoma for the first time on you." I chuckled, looking for the ridiculous eyes of the rest of the team.

"Why do all of you act surprised like that? While he is not the best player here, he is one of the players with a good basic foundation. He is also a smart player and has good game sense. His technique is solid, so he only needs to work on his physique and probably his mindset too if he wants to be someone big. He can also blend with everyone easily, so I can see him as a captain in the future. Honestly, if both he and the four-eyes are serious on volleyball, I can see myself and Kuroo in them."

"Woaaahh! Good for you, Yamaguchi!" The rest of the teams patted Yamaguchi's back while the one mentioned looked unsure about what to think, so I decided to save him.

"But once again, it depends on you. If you really want to be serious about volleyball, I think you have the chance to be a good player. So you better think about what I said, just like the four eyes here.'

"Yes, Thank you, Senpai!" Yamaguchi bowed at me with a shaky voice.

"And now, the troublemaker duo.." I turned into Kageyama and Hinata who are looking at me with an impatient look. Not just them, the rest of the team, even Tsukishima are listening eagerly.

"Shrimp!" I shouted at Hinata.

"YES SIR!" Everyone snickered at Hinata's high pitch.

"How long have you been training together with your teammates?" Hinata looked confused, but still gives the answer to my question.

"I think it is about a month?" He looked at Sawamura who nodded, confirming his guess.

"And is this your first time joining the team?" Now, not only Hinata, but almost every member of the team is also unsure about what I want to say.

"Y-yeah.." After hearing the confirmation from Hinata, I turned my attention to Sawamura and asked,

"Then, why the hell did the first year who joined the team for the first time is still not being able to do the basics after one month of training?" Sawamura and several others widened their eyes in realization, but I didn't give them chance to explain.

"If he can do the basic, even if it is just a little, then it is okay, for it probably because of his inexperience. But he didn't know how to receive or where to spike the ball. Hell, even his serve is also not good enough, sometimes it didn't reach the other side of the court. And what did you do? Instead of giving him basic training, you made him run all the court for some quick attack and bait. What the hell was wrong with you guys?" I finished my rant. Hinata is looking around, unsure why all of his senpai -even Kiyoko- look a bit down. However, it is not him who gives me the answer, but Kageyama.

"Because it is for the best of the team." All of us turned our attention to him, and I asked him coldly, "Care to explain?"

"As you said, he didn't know anything about volleyball. But he is fast, and his speed throws our opponent off their guard several times. That is why we only train the quick attack when he is around. He can learn the basics outside the team's training." Everyone widened their eyes, clearly shocked at his answer while Hinata looks hurt about it.

"And his position as the middle broker is your idea too I suppose?" I narrowed my eyes.

"Yeah. I mean, his attack will not always work, and other than that quick, he is pretty useless. So the best way is keeping him as a middle blocker and rotating him when he is on the back." He just shrugged as if there is nothing wrong with it. But before I can answer back, Tsukishima intervened,

"You know King? If you said about for the team, how about when Sugawara substituted you in the last match? We are clearly playing better when he is around rather than you." This resulted in Kageyama's fury.

"Care to say it again, bastard?!" He grabbed Tsukishima's collar.

"With pleasure, King." Tsukishima answered with a mocking tone. That is when the situation inside the gym turned out to be a disaster. Shout after shout coming from everyone. Fortunately, right before fists fly around, Kiyoko's shout can be heard loud enough,

"STOP IT, EVERYONE!!" This seems enough to stop everyone from shouting at each other, but the tension is still very high with Kageyama still sending his death glare at me and Tsukishima. Kiyoko ignored it and asked me,

"Yuki-nii, I am sorry it turned out to be like this. It is very embarrassing for us to have you see something like this. We will try to solve this problem, so do you mind going home before me?"

"Nah, I don't mind. But let me tell him something" I shrugged while pointing at Kageyama. The one mentioned just growling but cannot do anything with Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Ennoshita restrain him.

"Don't say anything that will break this team please," Kiyoko asks me wryly, which I ignored.

"You know," I said to Kageyama, "You might be one of the most talented setters in Japan, but before you fix your attitude toward your teammates, you will always be the number two behind Oikawa."

author note:

I kind of make Kageyama a bit more bastard in this chapter. But don't worry though. This is not some sort of Kageyama-bashing story. He will be better after this. I just want to smack his head because he is a jerk. I will not make Karasuno a weaker team than in the original story.
