Overly smart Ace

Ace hopped into the car and sat alongside a man who looked like he was about the same age with his sister, Amy was on the driver's sit while Araceli was in the passenger sit, he could sense something was wrong, first this wasn't Rachel's car, secondly she had that smile she had on her face when she just came back from the hospital, it didn't reach her eyes but she tried her best to still keep smiling.

"Hey Ace, are you ready to have fun?" Amy asked, trying to break the awkward stares Ace was giving Rachel who was just staring everywhere but Ace. The kid may have been young but he was smart and he could sense the tension in the car even though he just arrived.

Ricky taking the hint, Amy dropped about trying to break the awkward air around them, he decided to introduce himself since he hasn't met Ace yet.

"Hey Ace, I'm Ricky but you can call me Rick, or my friends call me Gay Rick," Ricky joked, winking at him. He knew a talk about his sexuality would be enough to take his attention from Rachel.

"Nobody calls you 'Gay Rick' Ricky," Amy interrupted, starting up the car. What Ricky said managed to bring a smile to Rachel's face as she turned back to see a confused look on Ace's face, knowing how curious of a kid he was, Ricky was in for a long talk.

"So you have a…boyfriend, right?" Ace asked, carefully placing his words. "Yes hon, I have a boyfriend," Rick nodded, smiling at him.

"What's his name?" Ace asked, looking at Ricky inquisitively again as if expecting to see something pop off his head.

"His name?" Ricky repeated, quite surprised that he would want to know his boyfriend's name.

"Well, his name is Alan Benson but I call him Ben," Ricky replied. A small smile tugged at his lips just from saying his name.

"You really like him, don't you?" Ace asked, smiling at him.

"Oh, and what gave that away?" Ricky asked, almost rhetorically even though he knew Ace wouldn't get it, but his reply shocked him.

"I read somewhere that when you say the name of someone you like, a little smile tugs at your lips, but Araceli doesn't smile like that when she talks about Xander," Ace said, simply.

The whole car went quiet for what felt like hours, even though it wasn't up to a minute. What Ace said seemed to take everyone by surprise as Ricky looked at Amy driving through the front mirror and Amy shared looks with Rachel who's eyes were just widened. The ice was finally cracked by Amy.

"Thirty minutes to Trench Arcade, who's ready to have loads of fun?!" Amy exclaimed, with a nervous laugh, desperate to break the Ice.

"Yayy!" Ace squealed, pumping his hands through the air completely oblivious to the awkward environment he had created.

They reached the Arcade which seemed to take forever even though it was just a thirty minute journey from the time Amy announced it.

The place was definitely eye-catching and was very busy with a lot of cars in the parking lot since it was a Friday, it was filled with alot of highschool students looking for some fun after five days of school workload.

The inside was a strict blue neon light and different other neon lights for every other game gave out, the most catchy game that stood out was the glow hockey board that stood right in the middle of the right side of the room filled of games, the left had an eatery section, the tables were pentagonal in shapes with chairs at every end of the chair.

They got a bunch of coins for Ace to go play a spider man themed car race. Amy, Rachel and Ricky headed towards the eatery section not because of the food but because it was the only part that wasn't crowded by adrenaline filled teenagers looking to have some fun. They sat on the chair at the side and put some salted fries in a big sieve and some coke.

"Are we going to talk about the fact that your brother is way too smart for his age?" Ricky asked, with an over dramatic expression.

"He is quite observant I must say," Rachel agreed, looking at Ricky overreacting again.

"We should talk about you, Araceli," Amy brought up the elephant in the room which everyone was comfortably ignoring, staring at her as if she had just lost her husband in the War.

"Amy, can you stop looking at me like that, I didn't lose my fiancé in a fucking titanic," Rachel snapped, looking away from her as she still had the look of pity in her eyes, the look she was avoiding.

"I'm fine, I'll be fine."

"All I need to do is get laid," Rachel added, trying to bring some life to the conversation.

"Is that really the best Idea?" Ricky asked, as he reached for another batch of fries.

"I mean—" Ricky started, chewing down the fries and washing it down with coke, "When I was feeling sad about my GPA dropping, my boyfriend tried to make me feel better with sex, but I ended up crying half way through the penetration," Ricky said.

"Too much information Ricky," Amy said, slapping his arms for what seemed like the one billionth time today.

"Besides, y'all probably didn't use enough lube," Rachel added, causing both of them to stare at her in surprise.

"What! I have seen gay porn before," Rachel launched fries at both of them.

"Well spoilers, gay sex is completely different from what you see in porn," Ricky enlightened her, shaking his head in disapproval.

"I mean, do you think they just stick it up there or just have sex anytime without douching?" Ricky said, tapping the side of his head with his index finger as if that will make them understand better.

"Ricky, no one want to know how gay sex works, besides, all she wanted was to get laid," Amy turned her attention to Araceli who was staring at her coke weirdly.

"Araceli," Amy waved her hands in front of Rachel's face who looked like she was no longer with them.

"Sorry, my brain just went overdrive with the info Ricky just shared," Rachel lied, laughing.

She was thinking of the possibility of Xander having her rape video. If it was possible that it could come into their possession, she only had two choices, go before them and buy the video from whoever had it and make them sign an NDA or make their effort wasted by announcing why she really went off radar for two months and survive on the mass pity so as when the video is released she won't be stared at different, all she had to do was survive the looks of pity and hypocrite endorsement she would get from it.

Amy slapped Ricky's hand again for making Araceli uncomfortable. "Ouch!" Ricky whined, looking at Amy sternly as she slapped his hand.

"That one is on you, Araceli," Ricky said, pointing at her as he narrowed his eyes. In return, Rachel raised her hands up as if in surrender.

"So, you got any guy you want to get laid with?" Amy asked, staring at Rachel as the question took her aback a little.

"I mean, you can do it with me, I think I'm bisexual enough, so yeah, it could work," Ricky suggested, winking at Rachel. This earned him another slap on the hand and a stern look from Amy and a cringed out look from Rachel.

"No thank you," Rachel said.

"Too personal?" Amy felt bad for prying.

"Actually, no."

"There's someone I actually have in mind but…"

"But what?" Amy exclaimed, getting more interested.

"Well, he kind of has feelings for me and I can't reciprocate it, at least not at the moment," Rachel said, sighing.

"Why can't you reciprocate it?" Ricky looked confused at her.

"Because we are business partners, my Dad told me I could do anything in business but never mix business and pleasure, he emphasized so much on it,"

"Feelings will only make it messy, if y'all were just having sex then it would be different," Amy reasoned.

"Right?" Amy asked, staring expectantly at Ricky to back her up.

"Right!"

"Notwithstanding, If you are going to get laid, you have to do it with someone who somewhat has interest in you, and is very attractive enough to break the rules for," Ricky contributed, encouraging her.

"Talking from experience?" Rachel asked him, smirking.

"Kinda."

"I mean, that's how I ended up with my awesome boyfriend, who happens to be one of the best I have had," Ricky said, proudly smiling.

He could still remember the day they went out on their first legit date and ended up running because they both forgot their wallets.

"I'm not looking forward to catching feelings," Rachel reminded them, even though she knew there was a possibility that she could, she didn't want to entertain it. Complicating her life with a relationship right now isn't exactly hef best option.

"But is this mystery guy hot?" Amy asked.

Just as she asked, Rachel's eye met with Yandel's as he and the twins approached the eatery side.

"Speaking of the devil…"
