It was one of the reasons why her mother was royally pissed at her. She was most convinced that her beloved daughter would never be involved in something like this, she was so convinced that I wouldn't do it and I know I didn't do it but the fact she felt so convinced that I was innocent that She decided to put her wraths on her friends saying they were responsible for whatever was happening to me.
She was the one who was blind to the problem. She would rather give up logic than believe that Xander has something to do with this. She would rather believe a man who hadn't come to visit his fiancée in a month and she was so comfortable with that, she wAs cofortable with the fact that he cheated but she was only interested in the girl he was fucking. She was really dense sometimes and at this point, she had no idea that her mother would ever open her closed mind to see that men aren't always right.
