Page 14: Farewell

Being a student at Magic Academies has several benefits. One of those is staying at dormitories provided by Alloces Academy in their institution. Being from the 5th Region and not in the Stolas Region where his home is located it was useful for Rumpel. Not just for him, but for other students from other domains aside from Alloces and the upper region students.

Before he permanently made his way to the Dormitory provided by the Alloces Academy, Rumpel made his way back to the inn where he was staying a few days ago.

" Young master! Seeing you're alive and well, you passed the test huh? Congrats! "

Lev says patting his shoulder lightly.

" Shall we order a drink and celebrate? "

Ourse asked eagerly while gazing at the barmaid serving drinks with a longing gaze. Pouting, Abe replied vehemently.

" You can't! What if Mr Stelzehaut deducts our payment if we get the young master drunk?! "

Ourse sighed.

" What a downer. "

While Ourse's mood was taking a downturn of not having a drink, Rumpel suggested to them.

" You can order food and drinks anything that you want here in the inn for the last time. It would be my treat. But I wouldn't join you in drinking. "

" Really?! "

Ourse asked eagerly. Rumpel nodded his head. After Rumpel's permission, Ourse started enthusiastically ordering a lot of food and drinks to her heart's content.

Steak, Drumstick, Lots of Ale and Beer, Bread, Soup etc.

Ourse has a large amount of appetite. She is a glutinous woman. Being affected by her party mode, Abe decided to give in and order some food and drink.

" Thank you, young master. "

" This is the last day so I shall see the Jungle Adventurer's Party rewarded for the services provided to me. "

Abe sighed.

" None of your father's enemies made their move to hire any assassination missions from other adventurers. "

" Isn't that a good thing? "

Abe shook his head.

" Maybe they would make their move in the least expected moment. "

" Then, I would be careful. "

When Abe's order arrived, he started eating his food.

While the other two members are eating their orders, Lev gazes at them with a fond smile and says.

" After this young master, we won't protect you anymore. "

" I know. "

Taking out something from the storage ring, he handed it to Lev, the leader of the Jungle Adventurer's Party.

The contract deal between his father and them.

" The proof that you completed your contract. Take it back to Stolas Domain or even at any Adventurer's Guild Branch. The proof of your mission completion and trustworthiness as an adventurer. "

Storing it in his pouch, Lev like his fellow team members started ordering food and drinks like crazy. For the entire few hours, Rumpel watched the Jungle Adventurer's Party get crazy at their table. Lev and Ourse raise and toss their cup of Ale together while Abe started getting piss drunk and started spouting curses and insulting his father.

Rumpel feels both relief and uneasiness that he doesn't have the Jungle Adventurer's Party contract in him anymore. Relief that human life wasn't being weighed on his hands and at the same time a certain pessimistic part of his mind couldn't help but imagine if they would betray him.

Thankfully the latter didn't happen.

Rumpel watched the Jungle Adventurer's Party get hammered for a few hours before dropping into their tables unconscious but breathing.

As a part of A Class Adventurer, none dared to bother or even think of robbing them.

With the unconscious, Rumpel left the inn.

Rumpel bid his farewell to the group.

For now..... Maybe, Rumpel would once again meet them in the future.

Leaving the inn after the Adventurer's Party is hammered, Rumpel rode a carriage heading towards the Alloces Academy. With guards at the main gate, Rumpel summoned his Grimoire from the storage ring. Not the Grimoire which he bought from the black market. The Clear Grimoire for the Clear Magic, but it was the Grimoire provided to him by the Alloces Academy.

The Grimoire from the Grimoire Library of Alloces Academy contains a crest symbol of the Alloces Academy on its back cover. Showing his proof as a student of Alloces Academy. Rumpel was granted access to enter.

Before going to walk, Rumpel didn't forget to ask for any directions to the Dormitory provided by the Alloces Academy.

Unlike what he knows of School Dormitories back on Earth, the girls' and boys' dormitories of the Alloces Academy students aren't separate.

However, Rumpel can be reassured that there would be no perverted or untoward that would be happening just because the Dormitory is Coed.

What has a higher chance of happening in Rumpel's opinion is murder.

After they had gotten their Grimoires, Professor Risid directed them to the Professor in charge of the student's management.

The professor in charge is Professor Crishen. She was a mage in her 40s. Professor Chrishen asked the people interested in staying at the Alloces Academy's dormitory. Rumpel was one of the ones who raised his hand.

Rumpel has given the number 232. Located on the 2nd floor of Alloces Academy's dormitory. After a while, Rumpel made his way to the Dormitory and walked to the 2nd floor. Getting closer and closer to his room until he stopped in front of him and looked through his room.

His gaze was focused on the door next to his room. A girl was huddling in front of another room's door.

" Do you have a key? "

The girl asked. Gazing at her, Rumpel noticed her prominent green wavy short hair and the beauty mark under her left eye. After his observation, Rumpel replied.

" Yes, I have a key. But I don't think that my key would work on your door. "

This girl probably has locked herself out of her room.

" You should ask one of the Alloces Academy staff or one of the professors. "

" No! I can't do that! It would be embarrassing! "

While the girl protested, Rumpel reasoned to her.

" It's better to escape from the staff or professors than stay outside of your room. "

" No! I can't leave a bad impression on the professors! "

Rumpel sighed and felt that he would start developing a headache. While he was pondering whether to just go inside his room and ignore the girl, her next words to Rumpel were a surprise.

" Ummm... Can I stay in your room for this night? "

The current time is approaching evening. The girl was looking at him with her pitiful light blue eyes and a sad expression on her face.

' Cute. '

However, Rumpel wouldn't be fazed. Smiling towards the girl, he says.

" I'm sorry, but According to Professor Risid, it was against the rules of the dormitory for a girl and a boy to sleep the night together in a dormitory room. "

After saying those words, the room's door opposite Rumpel's room opened. Rumpel and the girl glance curiously.

Stepping out of the door is a promiscuous-looking woman in a not modest attire.

" I am looking forward to when you call me for my services once again, young master! "

A blue-haired young man whose hair is tied into a ponytail walks to the door.

" I will call you once again tomorrow, Masha! "

He replied with a bright smile on his face. The woman ignores the dumbfounded Rumpel and the girl. Meanwhile, the blue-haired young man's blue eyes swept over them.

" Hmmm.... Two new juniors having a promiscuous meeting... "

The blue-haired young man trailed off before grinning.

" Go ahead and enjoy your lovely night. I won't tattle! "

The green-haired girl's face turned sour.

" Forget it, I would just call the professor. "

While the girl starts walking away, on the other hand, Rumpel's unique Ability Reader's Bias is activated once again.
