The cadets exchanged glances, their expressions a mixture of awe, apprehension, and curiosity as they gazed into the dark entrance of the dungeon.
Kaia stepped forward, her eyes wide. "Kevin, that was incredible! How did you manage to do that?"
Kevin shrugged nonchalantly, though there was a hint of pride in his eyes. "Just a simple unlocking spell. Nothing too complex."
Mia looked impressed. "Simple or not, it was effective. We're lucky to have someone with your skills."
Another cadet, Gregor, muttered under his breath, "I still don't like him, but we need his magic if we're going to get through this."
Kaia shot Gregor a disapproving look. "That's enough, Gregor. We're all in this together."
Kevin turned to Gregor, his expression hardening. "You don't have to like me, Gregor. Just follow orders and we'll get through this."
Gregor glared back, but nodded reluctantly. "Fine. But don't think for a second that I'm not watching you."
