Daisy's report

Tony Stark entered the room with brisk steps, his gaze sweeping over the faces of the three individuals. He paid no attention to the man, seemingly found the maid somewhat lacking in charm, and as he took his seat, Daisy, positioned in the middle, automatically entered his field of view.

Seemingly with an air of sophistication, he adjusted his suit and extended his hand towards Daisy, saying, "Miss Johnson, it's a pleasure to see you."

Daisy felt like there was a giant question mark flashing on her forehead. This guy exuded an air of pretentiousness from head to toe; he was like a peacock desperately flaunting itself. She had a strong urge to hit him with a sonic blast.

Considering the various factors at play, Daisy awkwardly shook his hand. Compared to the composed Pepper and the insightful Obadiah, Tony Stark came across as a bit of a jerk, and a sleazy one at that.

In his mind, there was nothing besides machinery and women.

Stark seemed intent on displaying his authority here, as he immediately delved into a barrage of questions and statements, leaving Daisy to patiently entertain him.

"Data analytics? Doesn't seem to have much technical depth. Your approach to information processing is quite rudimentary. If it were up to me..." He clearly had no idea about being tactful and respectful. Faced with the choice between science and women, he had chosen science, completely giving up on being charming. He openly ridiculed the method of data analytics in front of Daisy and the others, dismissing it as utterly useless.

Daisy inwardly chuckled a couple of times. Stark's disdain for data analysis likely stemmed from the fact that he had his own AI, J.A.R.V.I.S., to rely on. There was nothing particularly impressive about that.

As Tony Stark continued his verbose monologue, the others lost interest in the conversation. Fortunately, it didn't last long, and the data analytics was eventually completed.

The results took Daisy by surprise. It turned out that the area where Stark Industries could expand its economic influence was Afghanistan.

Did this guy run off to Afghanistan to buy missiles because of my data analytics ? Daisy found it hard to believe. She used to think of herself as a participant in the plot, but now it seemed more like she was the plot designer.

"Have you been ignoring the Afghanistan region all this time? Haven't you ever sold anything there before?" Daisy tentatively asked.

"Our focus has mainly been on the Americas and Africa. Trade volume in the Asian market has been minimal," Obadiah gave an oblique response. Daisy suspected there were hidden factors at play, but it wasn't her concern.

Pointing to the data analysis, she explained, "According to my algorithm, local conflict intensity is escalating. The US military has already withdrawn its defence lines to several major cities. The tribal militias are in urgent need of missiles—weapons that could tip the balance in the war."

"With the increasing local hostilities, it's not just missiles; they also need radars, rifles, armoured vehicles—anything related to warfare. This region could provide Stark Industries with a constant stream of profits." She concluded with an estimate, showing little concern for the well-being of the Afghan people.

Obadiah applauded her remarks, finding her analysis objective and aligned with some of his own thoughts. By voicing them through an external source, his wishes were fulfilled.

Without waiting for Tony to respond, Obadiah made a decision, "Stark Industries will hire Skye Data Analytics as part of our consulting team for $1.5 million annually. Additionally, for this consultation, we can offer a compensation of $300,000."

Tony Stark seemed slightly displeased. What was so impressive about a simple data analysis? He could do it in a matter of minutes. Nevertheless, he didn't voice his objection, perhaps out of respect for Obadiah's position. After all, it was just a little over a million dollars.

With the business matters settled, the two sides concluded their discussions. As a small company, they weren't likely to be wined and dined by the Stark Industries behemoth. They shook hands and bid each other farewell, each returning to their respective homes.

As they were about to leave, Tony Stark casually inquired if Daisy was interested in joining him for dinner. Without hesitation, she declined. Stark shrugged, seemingly unperturbed.

Thus ended Daisy's first encounter with Tony Stark, and it's safe to say that both sides were left with less than favorable impressions.

Back at her own company, the group held a brief meeting.

As they gained recognition, the big data model gradually took the stage, and those with ambition had already begun to study algorithms following their model.

Daisy instructed James to adjust the company's main direction, ceding a significant portion of the market and leveraging their early advantages to fully focus on the medical field.

As long as they could provide top-notch medical consultation, patients wouldn't mind spending a little extra money; after all, life was invaluable.

"Recruitment! Now that we have funds, the company's growth needs to accelerate, and we must take it up a notch in terms of scale." Daisy concluded her summary, gazing at the others to see if there were any other matters.

James cleared his throat, "A certain capital investment firm contacted me earlier, inquiring about potential investment."

"Which investment firm?" Daisy asked.

James retrieved his records, "Erkana Capital Management, headquartered in the Northeastern United States. They focus on genetic engineering, new media, and nanotechnology. Their funds are substantial."

Daisy pondered briefly, her expression somewhat peculiar. She was familiar with this investment firm. When she had first crossed over, she had gathered information. Typhoon Group., Erkana Capital—just the names revealed these were important organisations affiliated with HYDRA.

In her memory, both partners at Erkana Capital had public identities as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Now that she was within S.H.I.E.L.D., her presence was bound to disrupt their plans.

Absorbing a relatively unknown small company and absorbing a company with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were two entirely different matters. Their nature was completely different. They were still operating in the shadows, and they wouldn't expose themselves for a minor benefit like this.

"They didn't contact you again, did they?"

"No."

"Alright, I've got it. If there's nothing else, let's adjourn."

With the New York affairs concluded and after a dinner meticulously prepared by the maid, she headed straight back to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Half an hour later, a 500-word report appeared before Nick Fury.

Despite it being October, there was still a hint of heat in the air even in Washington. The air conditioning was on full blast in the room. Even though Nick Fury was wearing a leather jacket, he didn't feel hot at all!

He read the report twice from the start to the end. Daisy had thoroughly disparaged Stark.

Sharp-tongued, vulgar, lecherous, lacking team spirit, overly concerned with appearances—Daisy's implicit and explicit message was clear: this guy was a scum. If he ran into trouble, we shouldn't bother to rescue him! Let him die!

Of course, Nick Fury wouldn't simply take her word for it, but considering the information S.H.I.E.L.D. had collected from various sources, Daisy's report was fairly objective.

After signing and filing, he moved on to the next matter: the three female trainees. All three had great potential, but figuring out how to utilise them required some careful thought.

He needed to gather the opinions of elite agents as a reference. To prevent any communication leaks among his subordinates, he conducted video interviews one by one through a discreet channel.

Just like you asked, Shirayuki
