Here I was in the middle of a police blockade surrounded once more by two members of the elite four. Me a "Normal" trainer now was face to face with one of the strongest trainers. It also showed just how ridiculously strong a Gluttonmax was. On a off note, it seems a iron gut was a perfect expression for it as it gained a iron typing from eating a iron coating. Quite a unique way to evolve.
"Young man, you just need to hand the Pokeball over to us and we'll take good care of him for you."
"I told you already, he's one of my Pokemon and that he's safe."
"The woman retorted at that. "How could one of those rampaging monsters possibly stop. Your obviously lieing, and if you dare pull him out to try and prove it expect us to attack you back."
Yeah I didn't like this woman. I remember her being called Lorelei, she looked identical to her game counterpart with her orangish hair. Still her attitude was so much worse than the anime portrayed. Seems some of the games was in this world in certain manners. Even if this world mostly followed the anime.
"I'll not give him. Especially without you giving him even a chance. He's not a bad Gluttonmax you know?
"Enough games kid?" Bruno the fighting type champion looked at me nervously. He didn't believe the Gluttonmax was safe either, but he was more concerned with the fact the kid in front of him likely had the power to defeat the Pokemon in a fight.
"You know I was kind enough to let you set up this police blockade, I was kind enough to let you two get out your Pokemon so you didn't feel powerless, and the first thing you do is threaten me once you feel like you had the power to do so. Truly I find humans or at least most of them truly despicable."
A chill was felt as a black lizard came out. One people realized was one of the newest born evolutions of Charmander. What's more it came out without the Pokeball even being touched. It showed the emotional connection between the two. Still the creature was proven to be weaker than a Charizard so what did they have to worry about. Likely the kids stronger Pokemon were still put up.
"Lorelei, attack him before he can get out another Pokemon. To bad for them nobody considered Emblaze a threat. With the anger contained by both Pokemon and trainer as well as their friends, and family a power was born. With a screech of despair everyone felt their hearts clutch in fear. This screech was different as it also had a dark and ghostly nature to it. People noticed their Pokemon now also moved slower. But it was a little to late and the synchronized Pokemon blasted off.
A mumble took place and they realized something. They had made a mistake. A gloriously horrible mistake.
A mumble played out in peoples ears and their from arose a legend in the peoples hearts. "Ashes to ashes many fall down, but we have survived that trial and once more burn. Now show your bright light and blast off, for your fire is an unstoppable flame that must burn all."
Then a flame charge hit one of Lorelei's grass type Pokemon catching it with a burn status. Improving the Karmeleon's speed. Then with another flame charge in quick succession with no hope of dodging it the Pokemon took the damage right to the face knocking it out leaving it with a really bad burn. Putting it away the women quickly backed up knowing her typing was likely to get her seriously hurt if this battle continued. Thankfully even if she was a grass type trainer she always carried a couple Pokemon she trained against her typing for such situations. There a greedy looking Slowking emerged.
Feeling danger Emblaze desynchronized and grabbed his trainer. Jumping with its newfound speed that was the fastest within its level it took off running away from the Elite four going over the police and out of the situation. Grabbing a Pokeball on it's unconscious trainer's body it reached a consensus with the new guy and let it take care of the fight for a second long enough for him to get away far enough for him to pull him back into a Pokeball and get away.
He'd need to warn his trainer about passing out in case he ever had to break their "Oneness?" with each other.
