Training Pokemon

For a while I have read over all the cut and paste concepts on the Pokemon world trying to make the host strong as well as his Pokemon using the gamer system. I understand it's a dangerous world and you want to give the MC extra plot Armour. I thought about this and realized that the host would rarely fight in matters that needed strength except in situations that dealt with Legendaries. If that becomes par for course though in the story. What's the point of making this a long term novel that deals with the growth of a character. I would've set this as a short novel that deals with an overpowered MC that one shots all situations that need it. Also I wish to point out that Pokémon have sentience. The world also has abundant food with berries being around and the things that happen in Pokedex's in the games, I'm gonna try to stay partially away from as this is rated at a rating lower than 18+. (That's mostly because I find cursing unnecessarily to be just plain bad etiquette. I can understand if it happens when something bad occurs and you can't control your mouth. But flippant use of them just to annoy people is just that. Annoying...) The original story is also about friendship, journeying, and finding a purpose in the world they're in with their friends. Sabrina, Dawn, and May deal with contests. While Ash, and Iris love battling. Brock even finds a purpose on his journey as a breeder fully going into the field instead of just pursuing it as a side hobby like before when he had to take care of his brothers. As such I find it, while not useless for writing. A complete disappointment and withdrawal from the nature of what this world represents. What with hope and friendship being these main parts, and if you're fighting every creature you meet into submission. How is it possible for you to truly bond beyond servant and subject. Another thing is inside this story I will not limit the host to having 6 Pokemon on his being. No this would only apply to gyms or competitions as these kinds of things would require a more formal structure. I have decided on a new idea for this system that instead focuses on the Pokemon themselves. This includes knowledge, buffs, items and so on. The system will be less of a RPG stat layout directly as this still exists. But the stats come from training with the other stuff like others would train in a real world. The exception being Buffs. He can also use the system to build a utopia for his Pokemon. He can even slow down the time inside to gain larger training time later on for specific species which grow slower like Ninetails or various Ghost Pokemon. Enough of this Synopsis and rant though and on to the story. Ps. It's obvious, but I don't own this image. So I take no credit for it. And if someone eventually would like to make an image for this story I will thank you. Sincerely. PPS: Comments help me keep my want to write. When I notice there's not a lot of comments. I second guess my writing, like a lot. Probably for a good reason as I know I like to over analyze things, and I KNOW that's gonna influence my writing. I can see it deeply ingrained. So if you guys like my style please comment.

Chapter 20-Truth And Victory Questionnaire

As I stood above my "wonderful" crowd I looked over at the announcer. He seemed familiar somehow, But that would be silly. I didn't know him I hadn't even met the man. That's what I thought until something clicked. The man had sunglasses and slick yellow hair. He was the announcer from the DBZ series. Just what was this man doing here.

"It appears host that this is his reincarnation. He most likely died, and wasn't revived in his previous universe. This universe decided it needed a announcer so it snatched his soul."

Hearing the answer I grew a bit scared. "System, would I have one day ended up in this world, or a worse world if you hadn't come."

"Most likely worse host because in all the universes 98% lead to destruction. Thankfully Pokemon, YU-GI-OH, and surprisingly Naruto all have a survival rate above 80%. The point is Host that if I didn't come along your soul might have ended up destroyed."

Thanking the system infinitely for having chose me in my head I focused back on the man in front of me. "Congratulations young Aura Guardian. Here's a 10 point coin. I am sure you are already aware of it's value. Now to get to the interesting stuff," at this the man got up and walked to a nearby table that hosted the trophy. "It may not be the largest trophy," the man started "but I find this fits with us people around here all the better due to that fact.

Smiling I nodded in confirmation showing I understood. "Thanks, now to ask a few things. What's your name? The only reason this is being asked to to help get you ready for the next questions, that and for the amazing crowd below," the man shouted ending with a loud cheer from the crowd.

"My name is Lazaro Pizarro, and I wish to thank everyone who came to watch," I said with courtesy while trying to set a distant cool feeling. I didn't want to be "friends" with these fans. They would all just treat me like some living legend, and I didn't want to be friends with people like this. No, I would rather have friends who would correct me when needed and one that would point out my mistakes.

"Very good, now then how many Pokemon have you caught so far," the announcer asked. Thinking about it I gave a nod to myself and started "I have caught four Pokemon so far, and I have one Pokemon that's willing to see if I would be a good trainer to have." "That's great, it appears this is truly the start of your journey. Then my next question is why did you come compete in our little competition."

Trying to come up with something that wouldn't make me seem like a greed filled person I finally decided to tell a partial truth "Truthfully, I didn't originally know about this competition. When I walked behind the Pokemon Center there I all of a sudden got to learn about this unique challenge. That's why I am up here. I wanted to take on that challenge for myself and come out stronger than ever before."

In this way I answered questions for the next 4 hours. Eventually when I got off the stage I saw the person that offered me rare candies. Going over to him I yelled to grab his attention. "You said I could buy 5 rare candies right?" The man who heard that turned around and nodded eagerly.

"Yes, young Lazaro. Of course I would be willing to do that. In fact I would be willing to trade for 10 rare candies if you gave me two points." Not even thinking twice about not accepting I pulled out the 10 Point coin and walked with the man over to the counter they had set up to register. Thankfully it turned out they gave change coins for their currency. Exchanging it and getting the rare candy I immediately called out Emblaze to eat 5 of them.

When the lizard was faced with them he grabbed one and unwrapped it before smelling it. Whatever he had smelled was to his liking when he grabbed them and just started shoving them into his mouth. In a moment there was a slight glow at the stomach area before it disappeared. The candies had done there work. Going to my partner's stats I couldn't help but smile. All things considered this had been extremely helpful to him.

Putting him back into his Pokeball I took note of my situation with people starting to crowd around me and take pictures taking of quickly as I could without running I started to exit the place when I noticed something. There coming through the entrance was one of the Aura Guardians that I knew of from the Pokemon series. Someone had likely called to get him to come and get me, but I didn't want to be trained by them. I knew it was most likely impossible to strengthen myself allowing me to fight. Finding a way out of the place around the entrance I got out of there as quickly as possible hoping that I just wouldn't be dragged away by him.

I revised this one so yeah!
