An e-mail from Mr. L

On the way to dorm, Lee felt as if what happened today was a dream.

This morning, she noticed that post when she was searching for internship opportunity on job-finding websites. She is a sophomore majored in French. It is important for her to gain work experience if she wants to pave the way for future development as a language major student.

She used the filter of the search engine to find if there was any translation job. It would be better if it's a short-term program for she need to spare enough time in preparation for the final exam two months later.

A post titled "Need Female French Translator, Short-Term Only" caught her eyes. She clicked in and there were only a phone number and a name "Mr. L" on it.

A new type of scam, she thought. She chose to ignore it.

However, after her searching, this was the only one job that provide short-term work. It wouldn't do any harm if I just call the phone number.

She dialed the phone number, only to hear several beep in it.

After a few minutes, she received a text in her mobile phone.

"Please send your e-mail address if you're applying for the translation job. Thanks."

Even if it's a trick, it's OK if I only send e-mail address to this person, right. Yes, I will not click in any suspicious web link.

Lee did so and she received an e-mail later soon.

"I'm Mr L in that post, and I'm sorry to contact to you applicants in this way because of my personal reasons. To be more specific, what I'm searching for is a female who has the ability to do some basic translation and interpreting job in the gala on 10.20, there are two weeks to go. I should say this is not a easy job because I need you to work for me in the name of my girlfriend. Please feel assured that there will be no such thing as forcing you to do things that are illegal. Maybe it's more appropriate if I call this job a face project. No experience is needed and I'll train you personally. Some efforts need to be made during the training.
