Insane Cause of Cocaine.

Coyde's P.O.V

I walked into the asylum in a black suit and sunglasses. The walls were white and all other furniture was black. It was a fantastic design for an asylum and everything was serene.

I sat in the waiting room with some other odd looking people. Some looked like they had mental problems but others just looked stupid.

After about thirty minutes of waiting patiently, one of the nurses gestured for me to meet her at the counter.

"How can I help you?" She asked.

"I've come to see Mr. Charles Becker."

She went through a file and then looked up at me. "What's your name, sir?" She asked me.

"Jeffery Dunlop." I said the first name that came to my head.

"Okay." She noted it down. "What's your relationship with him?"

"I'm his best friend." I replied almost immediately.

"Okay… Follow me."

I was greeted with screams and shrieks when I got into a large room. Some people were wailing, others were just laughing uncontrollably like they were insane. They actually were. Each deranged person had each or her own cell and the hall was almost endless.

They all had their limbs and necks chained to heavy ball-like metals but still, some were banging the walls and yelling because of the pain they got from banging the walls. They wore dull orange uniforms and were real bruised and disturbed.

The place was so noisy unlike the waiting room. I couldn't wait to get the fuck out of here.

"Here he is." The nurse said as we arrived at Charles' cell. He wasn't chained yet. "Thirty minutes!" She uttered rudely and left.

I brought out a flask of food and dropped it on the countertop. He took it into the cell and dug into it so dementedly, like he'd lost all table manners. He even ate with his bare, unwashed hands although there was a spoon.

I watched him eat with absolute disgust. When he was done, he belched loudly. His eyes were red and tired. He had scars all over his body and I couldn't help but notice the ugly swell at the back of his head.

He went to a corner and sat there with his legs curled up. He appeared so wretched and lonely. I almost pitied him. There were sleep bags below his eyes probably because he had been sleepless due to the constant wailing and crying.

I gestured for him to come and surprisingly, he did.

"How are you?" I asked.

He looked at me intently and then said: "I'm great… can't you see?" His voice sounded perfectly calm, I almost thought he wasn't being sarcastic. Then he laughed wildly.

He looked so malnourished and maltreated; the only thing that helped me recognize him was his hair. And I don't think he's been here for more than a day. But I didn't really care about his well-being so I went straight to the point.

"Why didn't you kill him?" I questioned with a deep, bone-chilling voice.

He paused and looked straight into my eyes. I was tempted to look away. "You think I didn't try?" He yelled.

"Maybe you did… but you let him live."

"I let him live because I've got compassion… unlike you, John Coyde!" He spat. I was totally surprised by what he said. Charles- compassion? Those two just didn't go together. He was the exact opposite of compassionate. Inhumane!

"Seriously?"

"No, you mother fucker!" He said and giggled. "That girl has superpowers- His girlfriend." He added with a very serious tone. It was as if he was perfectly okay, just that he sometimes talked with short laughs in between his statements.

What did he mean my daughter has superpowers? What the hell was he trying to insinuate? Ana was undoubtedly sleeping in her room when he was going to kill the young asshole not going around f**king with a worthless bastard.

"What do you mean?" I asked objectively.

"She freaking froze me as I was about to stab him."

"Froze you?? Did she use liquid nitrogen?" I mocked and chuckled. It was so ridiculous.

"You don't believe me you- I don't even know why I didn't snitch your wasted ass when I had the chance so she would come for you and by the time you realize it, you'll already be in your grave! Damn you Charles! You fucked up!" He cursed and face palmed. He winced because he hit a boil on his forehead. "Why don't you go yourself?"

"So wait… you expect me to believe your ridiculous story?" I asked and he looked at me angrily. "It's the same fucked up story- they have superpowers and you couldn't defeat them. So creative! Like… do I look like Walt Disney to you? The first time your recruit came back after a failed mission to tell me an incredible story- about how the boy had telekinetic powers and all." I paused. "Now I'm going to do to you what I did to him." I declared and there was a deafening silence afterwards.

"What did you do to him? Please don't hurt me any more than this." He pleaded with tears in his red eyes.

I ignored him. "Why are you even here??"

"Can't you see… the place is so beautiful, I prefer it here. At least it's going to protect me from you."

"You can't run away from me." I threatened with a cold voice. I don't even know why I asked that question. There was only one answer to the question; He's here only because he's insane and he's insane 'cause of the cocaine and crystal he takes every day. That was the only logical answer to the question. He's got bags of those substances and everyone knows what they do to your mental health. That was the foremost reason that prompted me to quit.

I just wonder why God made him to run mad before he could kill the boy. Why did He have the habit of destroying toe finest of my plans? Anyways, I was going to kill him myself one way or the other no matter what!

"Goodbye my friend!" I said, picked up the flask and turned back.

"You're going to leave me here?" He asked hysterically.

Did he expect me to take him along with me… or to even answer his question? Well, I didn't. I walked away though he was yelling "Come back!" continuously. Nevertheless I didn't turn back once. I left the noisy room quickly.

I was done with my job; I had successfully poisoned him and he was going to die in a day. Who in that asylum knows my name? No bloody mother fucker!
