Last Christmas, Ryan was hospitalized due to some mysterious symptoms. He was an exceptional person, fully committed and a top performer in his field. After being discharged from the hospital, Ryan returned home and went out onto his balcony one evening. As he stood there, the sun scorched his skin, which was unusual for him. Suddenly, Ryan noticed a burning bush behind him. In an instant, he became invisible, and the dreadful spirits passing by could not detect him. Ryan realized that he was the only one who could see them, and the hideous spirits appeared to be in the form of gradually dissipating gases. Without hesitation, Ryan inhaled the gas and was engulfed in darkness.
Ryan's eyes flickered open, quickly scanning the ceiling before focusing on his bookshelf. He sat up with a jolt, determined to shake off his weakness. Despite being soaked through, he planted his feet firmly on the floor. Ryan cleared his vision, willing his memory to return. "How did I get here? Come on, think!" he urged himself, blinking rapidly. Suddenly, everything clicked into place, but he was still baffled. He gazed out of the window and saw that the spirits had vanished. "No way! I know what I saw was real!" he exclaimed, shrugging off any doubts.
Ryan made sure to jot down the information to remember it. He was a solitary individual who never sought attention and hardly ever showed any emotion.
After waking up, he suddenly realizes that he is running late for school. He attends Vortex Veil College, a school that is located at the intersection of magical ley lines. This college specializes in protective magic, where students are taught to create powerful magical barriers, shields, and wards. By doing so, they become skilled defenders against mystical threats.
He hurried and took his bath, he didn't even think about eating because he had nothing to eat. His friends waited for him outside, "Yo! What have you been doing Ryan?" Damon asked.
Ryan never thought of them as friends, he was a loner who didn't need anyone, but Damon and Vinny confronted him.
