Ch. 5 Profiles

" You know, the way you fought was amazing. And the way you swung that needle was cool."

Anaak and I were walking together down the hallway.

Anaak was silent as she stopped before looking at me.

" Why are you following me?"

" Well... that's because you look lonely, and I know you're going to steal the black March from Bam." I answered.

She continued walking as I followed her.

" The black March won't listen to you if you're a girl, and believe me, I already tried it. That woman inside there only seems interested in boys." I chuckled as I saw Anaak stop before continuing.

" And they must be cute or handsome for her standards, no random boy would do." I added, causing her to stop.

" Is it true?" She asked.

" Yes. It's useless in your hands." I replied as I stood in front of her.

" Since I've given you the green April back, do me a favor and try not to steal the black March."

I knew even if I tried to convince her, she'll just steal it when I left. But I remembered FUG, they'll steal it from Bam when he gets bretayed.

Even if it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to try not to stop Rachel but I knew it's important for Bam in the future.

We both continued to walk until we came across Androssi.

" HI!" She greeted us, but Anaak quickly turned away and ignored her as I crossed arms.

" Welp, I guess this is my time to leave, laters." I quickly left the hallway.

" Hey! Why are you two ignoring me!!?" She shouted.

I ignored her and walked to the cafeteria and grabbed some food, and walked towards Atalanta's room.

I knocked on the door to see Atalanta opening the door.

" Master?"

" Yo, I know servants don't really need to eat, but I got you something."

" ... Thank you." She smiled as she took a food tray from my hands.

" Now that I got you some food, I actually need your help." I said as I leaned by he door.

" May I inquire what it is?" She asked.

" You saw the way I fought. It's a mess compared to others. On the next floor, I want to summon another servant and need you and their assistance in helping me fight." I answered as I closed the door behind me.

" Summoning another servant? Can you really do that?" She asked.

" Yeah, I can. But for now, just rest while you can. I'll continue to make connections with these people here." I left her room and started walking down the hallway.

I came across a man sleeping on the floor, I stared at him for a few seconds before walking away.

I walked back into my room and glanced at the bag.

" I could use a better bag, maybe a spacial bag? Or a spacial ring?... I think it's best to go with a spacial bag instead."

" I should start experimenting with All Fiction as well."

I tossed the bag to the side before standing in the middle of the room. I created a spear, a normal spear, before transforming its length and weight.

Now was the time to choose my fighting style. I don't know what I'm talented in, and since I'm not in a rush, I could use All Fiction, but asking for help from Atalanta would help us grow closer.

[ Memory Manipulation ]

A power I use to remember every memory in my head, which I used to copy the skills from other animes and manga.

But then I realized I only knew a few spear users in my memories. King from the seven deadly sins, White beard from One Piece, but he uses a Naginata which us different from a spear, and the lancers from Fate.

' I could create my own techniques if all fiction allows it. Even use the characters' styles in my technique.'

[ Skill Creation ]

' Now, should use just solely focus on skill or should I add an element? If so... then what element?'

As I started thinking of an element, I wanted something cool and powerful.

First was lightening, but I remembered lightning was used here, and I wanted something unique.

Something like space, gravity, or something.

' Space would be nice.' I thought as I looked at the spear and put my mind on the spear to move it at the end of the room.

" It worked." I felt my excitement building up at this power. I made the spear appear back into my hand.

I continued to play with space as the spear and I teleported across the room.

" Haha!" I was having fun laying with space even with gravity as I gravity as I floated across the room. I enjoyed floating upside down.

Two days passed, and today we'll be leaving for the next floor.

" Stay to watch?..." I glanced at Lero Ro and at Atalanta, who kept a blank expression.

" We're gonna have to pass that offer." I replied.

" Ah... well, I hope you two have achieved whatever you're looking for in the tower." He smiled and stepped back as we both stepped onto the platform before

The platform lifted from the ground and started floating to the top.

" The third floor... first, we should look for a place to stay, then I'll summon another servant, and we gather information on this floor and pass the test."

If there's one thing I regret, it's not warning Khun about Rachel but with that man cautious and untrusting behavior I doubt he'll bother to listen and even if he did he'll just figure it out later albeit late.
