Eunice, clad in a professional black skirt suit, held Sophia's right hand as they climbed the stairs out of the subway station, with Lenny casually walking behind with hands in his hoodie.

Outside in the busy street, other pedestrians walked by and went about their businesses, along with various vehicles moving about the roads. 

Right ahead, there was an ice street stand with the owner tirelessly advertising his sale to the passers-by.

Ignoring him, Eunice asked Sophia if she had a mobile device so they could exchange numbers, to which she replied she did, but was too embarrassed to bring it out from her school bag as it was a very old model.
