Rachel's POV
The rest of the week went by calmly and it was safe to say I enjoyed my break. Spending quality time with Lorenzo was the cherry on top and I wouldn't dare say I wasn't happy with how things were between us.
Aside from the occasional madness like that day he hauled me over his shoulders, we were in peach paradise. Most situations like that were partly my fault, hence if I hadn't called his bluff, it wouldn't have escalated.
Debby and Xander had visited us on Friday, each coming at a different time, however it was fun being with our friends and spending leisure time together while we forgot our jobs for a little while.
About the offer I got about attending to a customer's design, I didn't bring it up when Debby came around. I knew she must had read the offer hence we both had access to email, nonetheless she didn't say anything about it either.
