The boys maintained their calm after shouting that way. In their minds, they reckoned there was no point in rubbing salt over Jake's heart wound. Whilst Zev steered his eyes towards the wildness of the party happening where they were, Kaiden kept his orbs fixedly at Jake as if there was more he wanted to say, but such words that he could not mutter so easily.

Zev darted his eyes back to them. It was a sudden reflex but the situation he met with Kaiden ogling so earnestly at Jake who was simply looking down on his half-filled glass, caused him to make a decision then and there.

''Uh.. Okay guys,'' Zev got up now earning him both their stares. 

''What? Are you leaving?'' Kai was the first one to speak.

''Sort of.''

''What do you mean?'' Jake restricted him. ''I didn't exactly get here to ruin your party mood. If that's the reason for it, I would gladly leave.''

''Oh, course not.'' 

Zev chuckled lightly.
