While Jake lay on his bed awaiting his death, Haewon bubbled with excitement at the thought of showing Jake the pair of couple rings she had bought them.
Even though Jake had said he was going to do the proposing, she still felt like giving him the rings and urging him so they could get it done before his grandmother's condition got worse.
She picked up her phone so she could remind Jake to meet her at the rooftop of the restaurant for lunch. She had packed lunch from home so they wouldn't have to go to the cafeteria. She didn't want Charlotte to be there when she talked to Jake about marriage.
Haewon smiled when she picked up her phone and realized that Jake had already sent a text, which she had failed to see because she had been too busy with work to pick up her phone.
