"Were you the second lead in someone's life?" She asked.
Veronica shook her head.
"I wasn't but after hearing you talk for so long,I felt like you are. I wrote this during a rough phrase of our relationship and I thought to just recite this," Veronica said with a smile like she didn't just indirectly attacked someone with a scar from the same thing.
It was such a toxic thing to do, to tell people things that are related to their story. It was never going to make them laugh, rather they become numb from the irony.
She knew that she shouldn't do this but her toxic self was making her do this anyways.
Andrew didn't appreciate this act of hers but he thought to talk to her about this later.
The lady didn't seem to mind but anyone could tell that she's upset by the way her eyelashes seemed so down, as if the burden of her sadness was making it hard for her to fully open her eyes.
She laughed but it didn't reach to her eyes.
