[Autopilot activated]

Lin rolled out from incoming hits. When he had gotten distance between him and his bullies. He put his arms up in a fighting stance signalling for the three of his bullies to approach.

The rangers eyes grew wild, accepting the challenge with a smirk.

He invaded the first punch that was coming for his face, pushing the arm of his attacker to the side and landed him a jab to the face.

The ranger moved to the side with his face buried in his palm.

"You bastard! How dare you?" The ranger shouted with rage.

The ranger threw out his other fist, but Lin's Speed had put him at an advantage. He stepped back avoiding the blow.

The first ranger charged at Lin, throwing a punch that Lin easily dodged.

Lin countered with a quick jab to the ranger's gut, but it barely fazed him. The ranger retaliated with a vicious uppercut that sent Lin staggering backwards.

Lin shook off the blow and regained his footing, his eyes scanning the other two rangers. They were circling him like wolves, waiting for their chance to strike.

The ranger charged again putting all his weight behind the fist he threw out.

Lin grabbed the Rangers arm with both hands and dealt him a knee to crouch blow. The ranger fell to the ground whimpering in agony.

Lin dragged his leg back and gave the ranger a fatal kick to the head knocking him out.

"Park!" Ryan had shouted to the ranger on the ground, but ranger Park was out cold.

Ryan and the other ranger charged towards Lin.

Lin stepped backwards dodging the incoming punch from Ryan. Lin closed in against Ryan, lifting him off the ground with his shoulder slamming Ryan to the ground.

As he raised his clutched fist to rain down punches on the ranger who was struggling underneath him, the other ranger grabbed him by the shoulder and flinged him to the ground. The ranger dashed at Lin and dealt him another heavy kick to the stomach.

Lin groaned in immerse pain.

The ranger closed in again to deal Lin another blow. Lin rolled out the line of attack managing to get on his feet.

The second ranger darted in from the left, aiming a kick at Lin's head. Lin reacted quickly, ducking under the kick and landing a powerful roundhouse kick to the ranger's side. The ranger grunted in pain, but quickly recovered and charged at Lin again.

The ranger threw another fist at Lin, he staggered and caught the Rangers arm by the elbow. Lin then put all his weight behind his attack. He slammed his left fist into the ranger's chest. The ranger moved backwards gasping for air. Before he could look up, Lin landed a dropkick sending the ranger onto the nearby wall.

Blood slowly trickled down Lin's face and he staggered towards Ryan, who had now picked up a plank off the ground.

Ryan held the plank with both arms ready to smash it on Lin's head. The look in Lin's eyes were scary and bloodthirsty and he could not leave his victory to chance.

Ryan charged in to finish Lin off, the thick wood following suit.

Lin had taken the hit to his side, knocking him off balance. Lin could barely keep his eyes open but his body was in autopilot.

Lin wanted to stop and catch his breath, but the attacks were relentless.

Lin gritted his teeth and tried preparing for the next attack.

"Woosh!" The plank came crashing on Lin's back, sending him flat on his stomach.

Lin spat out some blood as he coughed deeply.

"Stay down Hiro" Ryan shouted towering over the blooded cadet.

Lin laboring with his breathe, grabbed Ryan's feet but he was too weak to do anything at this point.

Ryan raised his foot up and crushed Lin's fingers beneath his boot. Lin groaned in excruciating pain retracing his arm and curling up in a ball.

Ryan bent over, taking Lin's hair in his arm while the lanky figure lay helpless.

"Welcome to the Shing academy Lin. Here you are not your father. You are no hero. You are nothing but another kid seeking validation" Ryan scoffed at Lin.

"Out there, the hounds will eat you up alive" Ryan said getting back to his feet to leave.

After he had move creating enough distance between himself and Lin, lin struggled to get on his feet.

"Where do you think you are going? Scared already? Why don't you finish what you started" Lin's voice had failed him and his words had come out weaker than he would have wanted.

Ryan turned around to steal another glance at the trembling Lin.

"Go get yourself sorted out boy. Come back when you are strong enough to take me on. It won't be fair to take your life on your second day in the academy. By the way, a little bird told me he had you say you do not want to be anything like your Father", Ryan let out a giggle before continuing, "if you want to be a hero, go get a fighting chance with a villian first."

Ryan turned around and continued walking away satisfied with how much damage they had dealt the cadet.

[Shutting down]

Lin was so battered, keeping Zen online would only make his condition worse.

Lin kept looking at Ryan while he disappeared from the horizon. Lin then looked at the Rangers would were lying on the floor unconscious, he felt his pride grow even though his strength was failing him and he was in excruciating pain.

He strain his only open eyes to see the names on the tags of his defeated opponents.

"Park Chu. Greg Sacon" He read.

The names of his first two conquers opponents sent a satisfying feeling down his guts.

Lin started dragging himself to the class using the wall as his support hoping someone would lend him a hand to the infirmary.

Losing consciousness again is not an option as he didn't want to come off as attention seeking.

Lin got to the hallway of the classblocks and everyone avoided him like a plague. He was covered in blood and could barely walk.

People were whispering around him and even when he whispered "Help" no-one came to his rescue.

"I should find Feng" Lin thought.

[HP fatal]

A notification had popped up before Lin's eyes for a very brief moment before he collapsed on the cold hallway.

Before he eye closed, he saw a girl run towards him.

"Help" he whispered again before he was submerged in darkness.
