Ch 105: Baby Bump
"By the power invested in me. You may now kiss the bride," the Pastor said in front of Ava and John facing each other. They both sealed their kiss together as husband and wife and the crowd applauded. Together, they walked down the aisle and everyone followed accordingly.
Kai met me in the middle of the altar for me to take his arm because we were both in the wedding. By tomorrow it will be the third week of June. Kai and I made it back from our honeymoon just in the nick of time to be a part of Ava's wedding.
Their wedding vows weren't any different from mine and Kai's. They even pricked each other's fingertips and printed their blood together on a similar-looking medallion pocket watch. Seeing that take place from a different standpoint, I still found that part of the vows was remotely strange. I think while Kai and I walked out into the hallway arm and arm together.
After we took a thousand wedding photos with the bride Ava and her groom John. Everyone gathered at this park for the wedding reception. Her wedding was beautiful and surprisingly the paparazzi weren't here. I guess she wasn't as popular as Mr. Collin. So I'm guessing, Mr. Collin had more power with the family business over Mrs. Collin's older brother. Luckily for Ava, she got her wedding on a warm sunny day at the park.

An hour later, I looked around at the food bar. Unfortunately, I was feeling sour from my stomach being nauseous. I want to eat at the same time I feel too queasy.
Without telling Kai this but I was nearly three weeks late from my cycle. So now I'm worried about the possibility that I might be pregnant.
Just in case I might be, I hadn't bothered asking Jack for another supply of morning-after pills. Now I kinda figured it might be time to seek out a gynecologist and see if I am pregnant or what's going on. Since those morning-after pills can be risky to take.
"Hey, are you ok?" Rose came up to me smiling. Since our return home from Rio, Rose has blossomed a cute baby bump. It's crazy how fast she's changed from being flat stomach to seeing a small bump on her. Other than that her figure shape was slender and skinny. Honestly, her baby bump was smaller than a soccer ball.
"Yes, I'm fine," I told her. "I don't think I'm in the mood to eat right now."
Rose smiled as I withdrew from the food bar. "Is there a chance that you might be pregnant?" She whispered so no one would hear her.
She and I kinda stepped aside from the larger crowds.
"There might be but I'm not entirely sure," I asked her a serious question. "Can I share something with you without Kai knowing about it?"
"Of course," Rose giggled lightly. "As long as I can do the same without Ace knowing my secrets."
"It's a deal," I chuckled lowly with her.
"So spill it," She said as we continued to stroll down the sidewalk.
I began telling her, "Well, during the honeymoon I asked Jack to get me the morning-after pill without telling Kai. So I've been taking them for two weeks. Now I'm almost three weeks late and I am nauseous. I don't know if it's the pills or if I am pregnant. Either way, I don't want Kai knowing anything because he never knew I was taking anything and I don't wanna deal with his weird mood swings."
Rose laughed in agreement on that last part. "I think you need to see a gynecologist. Tomorrow I have an appointment with one to check on my baby. You should come with Ace and me to check on your health. If you are pregnant while taking those pills you wanna be sure the baby's health and yours are ok."
"But I don't have any insurance cards or identification since Kai won't give me back my information," I said, stressing.
"Don't worry about it," Rose said, calming me down. "You're a Collin now and they have private physicians that will see you or anybody even living under the Collin's residence. Being a Collin, they'll take you right in and all expenses will be paid for."
"What do I do about Kai from learning what I did?" I asked, extremely nervous.
"It's no big deal," Rose indicated like this was that easy. "If you tell them to keep your information confidential. Then they will respect that. So just come with us tomorrow. Kai will be busy working tomorrow anyways."
I nodded in agreement, "Okay, I'll tag along if you guys don't mind."
Rose giggled cutely, "Of course, not Victoria. I feel this is important to know what's going on especially if it turns out that you are pregnant."
"Alright I'll tag along," I said giggling.
"Perfect be ready before noon," Rose notified. "My appointment is at 1:20 pm so we'll have to leave at about 12:30."
"I'll be ready," I smiled, confirming that wasn't any problem.
After speaking with Rose, I felt a little better but I was still nervous. Since I wasn't sure what to expect with this check-up.
"Care to dance," Kai sorta snuck up on me and Rose.
He was smiling widely and looked truly happy. After Hector was tragically killed by that horse. Kai has been super sweet the rest of our time on our two-week honeymoon.
And the last I learned about Tracy's whereabouts. The manager told me that she had been found and was working elsewhere. So with Tracy gone the remaining time during our honeymoon was pleasant between sightseeing and sex. That's pretty much what we did. But even after returning home, Kai has been in a great mood.
"I'd love to," I said, taking his hand for a dance with my husband but I am still getting used to the idea of us being married.
The remaining hours of the wedding flew by fairly fast. We all waved goodbye to the newlyweds as they left in the limousine. Pretty much after that Kai was ready to leave, so we went back to Mr. Collin's mansion and I crashed once my body hit the mattress.
