*Click, click*
*Squeak*
With several sword strikes and the cries of a thousand birds, Yuki and Yuu locked eyes.
After exchanging numerous blows and Yuu shifting through various Voids, both parties distanced themselves.
¶"At midnight in my fantasies, I saw
something unattainable that
tries to reach me
Against the storm (UHH)
or battling in the heat (UHH)
his super walk (UHH)
but I will be the victor
(UHHHH) (AHHHHHHHHHHH) x4" ¶
With the song still playing, Yuu squinted his eyes. The king's power he possessed was potent but not invincible. Yuki also possessed this power but chose not to use it. Both sides reached a stalemate.
Yuki, with his superior physique and chakra, easily outmatched Yuu. However, the king's power was unpredictable. Yuu had managed to block Yuki's lightning sword, kick the air, float, create barriers, and even enter another dimension.
This surprised Yuki a bit. Despite having chakra, a more versatile power than the king's, Yuki had to admit that the king's power was formidable in this world.
"Hmp! How many people will you sacrifice? Why don't you give up? You've already lost."
Snorting with coldness, Yuki didn't like this. Yuu had been taking Void abilities from those around him—GHQ soldiers and even ordinary people. While Yuki didn't judge him, he believed that using one's own power in a fight made it exciting, rather than relying on others' powers, unless it was a group battle. Yuu, however, didn't follow this principle. He stole Voids and used them as shields, involving people unrelated to the conflict. Yuki disapproved of this, but he understood that Yuu was desperate, and a cornered rabbit might bite.
"As many as needed. If it can help me kill you, it's a small price."
Sighing, Yuu took another Void, turning it into a katana. Yuki thought about how strong the king's power was for people in this world.
(On second thought, it's better if I take Eva myself.)
With this in mind, Yuu waved his hand, creating a wormhole.
"No, you won't. I won't let you escape."
Watching this, Yuki snapped his fingers, and several white arms emerged from the shadows, lashing out at Yuu like whips.
Yuki was tired of this game. Yuu had used the wormhole to find areas with many people in Tokyo to steal Voids. Although Yuki initially allowed it, he was now tired of playing this cat-and-mouse game. Without hesitation, he used his clones.
*Boom! Boom!
*Roar!
However, while attacking Yuu, several explosions and roars were heard.
(My chakra... I see, it has entered the final phase.)
Feeling a significant portion of his chakra diminish, Yuki clenched his fist. Surely, his clone in the giant must be having fun, even using the original's chakra to create that herd of crystal lions and use the ice domain.
"Ugh!"
Groaning in pain, Yuu touched his abdomen. Blood seeped out, and he gritted his teeth.
The arms emerging out of nowhere caught him off guard, causing one to strike his abdomen. Fortunately, he managed to kick the ground and dodge, but unfortunately, he didn't have time to use the wormhole and lost his last Void.
With this, Yuki's objective was fulfilled.
¶"Where the sky and sea are in union (UHH)x2
or where the sun is seen rising (UHH)x2
somewhere, someone is watching me from there
(UHH)x2
Through a great storm
the battle will triumph
like fire in my blood, I feel it coming
(I feel it coming, I feel it coming
I feel it coming, I feel it coming)
(hero)"¶
Listening to Inori's song, Yuki closed his eyes for a moment before reopening them. Inori's Genomic Resonance was working well, allowing him to move on to the next phase.
"No more games. It's time to end this."
Looking at the injured Yuu, Yuki shook his head. This guy wasn't his rival, so he shouldn't waste any more time on him.
"Elohim."
*Tick, Tack
Murmuring softly, accompanied by the sound of a clock, darkness surrounded his body, transforming his attire into his astral suit.
(Ahh~ so comfortable)
It had been a while since Yuki used his astral suit. Since coming to this world, the use of Zafkiel had become unusable. So, being in his astral suit made him feel comfortable.
After all, his astral suit was something he was born with. The Sephira crystal within him moved with excitement to be back in action.
"..."
Yuu, on the other hand, didn't know what to say. Yuki was too unpredictable, causing Yuu to lose quite a bit of confidence. This fact made the little demon even more terrifying.
Yuki's abilities and powers were mighty, and Yuu regretted his lack of information. Otherwise, he would have taken a different route to achieve his goals. But there's no cure for regret.
"Zafkiel."
After donning his astral suit, Yuki didn't hesitate to summon his angel. The massive, inorganic-looking golden clock appeared.
*Tick, Tack
With the sound of the clock, Yuki materialized his spark gun, crossing his arms at the same time.
If Kurumi saw this, he was sure she would have spasms and go crazy. After all, the power he was using right now was something she deeply desired.
Yuu, witnessing this, was greatly surprised. Yuki's aura and power had changed. If Yuki was a spring breeze before, he was now a fierce freezing wind that chilled to the bone.
The manifestation of Zafkiel was the manifestation of the Time Emperor, so the pressure behind it was no joke.
[Aleph]
*Bang
However, in the end, what echoed in this destructive battlefield (Tokyo) was the sound of a gunshot.
