Among Us 1: The Game Begins

Confused, Mikoto tilted her head while looking at the chat screen.

"Mikoto Misaka: What's this, Uchiha-San? Some new update?"

"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Are you referring to Among Us? It's a game, newly added to the chat room. Want to play?"

"Yuno Gasai: A game? That's unusual."

"Inori Yuzuhira: A game?"

Yuno glared with hatred at two particular names and smiled maliciously.

"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Alright, I'll create the room... There, everyone join."

Simultaneously sending their responses, they clicked, entering the online game.

At first glance, it seemed fine. They could see a miniature version of each other. Yuno even had a nosebleed at the sight of Yuki's avatar.

However, La Folia didn't mind. She looked at each of the avatars, cheeks blushing with their cuteness.

As for Inori, her avatar displayed a clear red mark of anger. She looked at Yuki and Yuno's hugging avatars and couldn't help but feel jealous.

"Golden Darkness: Game...?"

As for Yami, she was just waiting for the start.

"Time Emperor (Champion): Alright, let's begin... Mikoto, you can't change your name in this game, just surrender... Everyone to your positions, and remember, one of us is the impostor. Also, complete the missions."

The other members just watched with amusement before dispersing to different points to complete their missions.

"Alright, what do we have here..." Walking calmly, La Folia looked for missions to complete before stopping at what seemed like an electrical station.

"Hm~" Looking at a small yellow arrow pointing to a lever, her avatar approached, and upon getting close, a [Use] message appeared.

Clicking it, La Folia waited to complete her first mission. However, she never noticed a small vent on the floor.

Out of nowhere, an avatar appeared behind her, shooting two bullets mercilessly. Looking at the corpse, the avatar quickly slipped into the vent.

La Folia, however, was speechless. She recognized the avatar and opened her mouth wide, never expecting it to be that avatar. She quickly tried to contact everyone, but the game denied her messages. She could only watch as a little ghost emerged from her body.

Pressing that button, Mikoto was the first to see the corpse. Just like La Folia, she was heading to the power plant, so she instantly reported La Folia's body.

"Time Emperor (Champion): Well? Did you see anything, Mikoto?"

Quickly with the 'Report' button, all the avatars gathered at the crime scene.

They looked at La Folia's tragic fate and shook their heads. It was too quick.

"Biri-biri: Sorry, didn't see anything."

Shaking her head, Mikoto was surprised at how quickly La Folia died.

While Inori and Yami joked about La Folia's death, Yuno's avatar kicked and spat on the corpse.

She was very satisfied with this, enjoying how La Folia's avatar bled.

The other members didn't know what to say. They just looked at Yuno's avatar with doubts, as Yuno's actions and hatred for La Folia were well-known. So, they glanced at each other before nodding.

However, while all this was happening, they couldn't see La Folia's ghost pointing at a specific avatar. But it was a pity; in the game, she was already dead, so she couldn't send messages or touch anyone.

Assenting with their tiny avatars, each of them voted. However, Yuno was surprised by the result.

Looking hopefully at Yuki's avatar, Yuno's avatar, however, turned away, refusing to look at her.

While giving her final words, Yuno's avatar was swallowed and ejected from the spaceship, her small avatar spinning in space.

"Biri-Biri: Hopefully, we win the game."
