Chapter Twenty-five : Date

Her anger subsided immediately and her face soften. His gray eye pierced into her's. "Can I come in?" he calmly asked.

"NO" she almost screamed.

He looked kinda shocked, "I can't come in?" he repeated to be sure.

"Yes.....with all die respect sir you can't come in"

He bit the under of his lips before nodding. He turned back to go but she immediately held his hand, he looked back at her with blazing angry eyes. She immediately left his hands in fear.

She summoned up courage and asked "What did you want to tell me"

"Nothing" he turned back and walked away.

Mariel closed her door gently and rest on it, "Hiss, What just happened? Mariel you are so fucking stupid..."

"I shouldn't have done that right? Now I lost the chance to tell her to go to the business trip with me. Damn it" Harry cursed under his breath.

Mr and Mrs Graham, Chloe's parents are typical example of irresponsible parents, since when Chloe was in middle school they've always maltreated her, it was so bad that she had to live with Mariel till she finished high school. They recently found out her resident and they gave her a surprise visit, unfortunately that day she didn't sleep over at Mariel's place.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"You are still as rude as I remembered" Emily said.

"Is that how to talk to someone you haven't seen for such a long time" Luca added,

"Say what you wanna say and get out"

"Okay then I'll get to the point, you are getting married..." Luca was saying when Chloe interrupted

"What?"

"Yes! We have been suffering thanks to you, all my friends children are working in big company and earning a lot of money to take care of them. but my daughter is working part time as a waiter in a restaurant, so in that case you are getting married soon" Emily added

"Have you forgotten? We've broken our bond, I have nothing to do with you and you have nothing to do with me...."

"Yeah you are right, but we borrowed a huge sum of money and we couldn't pay back, so they are asking for your hand in marriage as compensation"

"I don't care, when you're done, use the door"

"Whatever, you should know more than disobeying us, then... we'll get going, see you soon" Emily said and left with Luca.

When they left Chloe burst into tears,

"Why me? WHY?....."

Ken got to Mariel's resident but couldn't find Chloe, so Mariel had to give him the location of where she's staying.

He drove his car to the place, when he was almost there, he saw her silhouette in the playground bending with heads down. He immediately stopped his car and got down, "Chloe?"

Chloe was shocked that someone who recognized her was there, she isn't really famous in her society, do she wondered who it could be and was very shocked to find Ken.

"Are you okay?"

She couldn't hold back the tears and it flowed like rivers, He hugged her and let her cry on him.

Her pain, causing a sting in his heart, ohh more than just a sting, it felt like he was being stabbed on the heart.

He has dated quite a number of girls, but none has ever made him feel like this before. This sure is LOVE!!!!
