Chapter fourteen : Being a CEO

Mariel bounced to the mansion the next day, the first person she met was Ken "Hey"

"Good morning" he greeted

"Good morning"

"I've been waiting for you to come, common let's go"

He draged her to tiger's room. She met him there.

"Good morning" she greeted

He nod his head. "Hmmn, arrogant prick" she muttered, "He couldn't even return my greetings"

"Why are you telling all this?" Mariel asked when Ken told her all what he and Harry talked about the other day.

"Well, as his personal assistant, you will have to follow him to work from now on" Ken replied

"But aren't you suppose to be the personal assistant? .... you know, you are the one that..."

"I get. But you will be the personal assistant while I will be the manager" he explained further

She nodded her head in understanding

"Oh ok"

"He would actually be attending a meeting soon, so change your clothes to a more cooperate one"

Mariel looked at her clothing. "What this is the only cooperate dressing I have" she said. Tiger stared at her which send shivers to her body.

"Hey stop looking at me that way I don't have any more cooperate ware"

"Ohh okay, I'll order one for you" Ken chipped in

"No thanks, lend me the money from the remaining balance of my 1.5 million dollars salary.

When Mariel left the room, Harry turned to look at Ken "1.5 million dollars? Ken really?"

"What? Don't blame me it wasn't really my fault, no one was willing to work with you, so I had to put up a huge amount of money before someone showed up"

He nod his head in understanding.

"Don't deduct the money of her brother's surgery and the cloth from her salary"

"Yeah yeah, I've heard".

Suddenly he looked worried all of a sudden.

"How will we get out of here?"

"Don't worry, I believe Mariel has a plan...."

Mariel barged in "Yes I have a plan"
