It was late in the afternoon, the following day, when Mae and Baas arrived at the surface entrance of the Sal'air'nyne Quarter, Iozin bound and gagged on the back of Chald.
Leafran and Syrwof were on guard duty that day, and eagerly aided Baas in hoisting Iozin to the ground, laying him in a comfortable section of grass between them, much to his protest, as Pyde appeared with Kina'Volrinn and Hexatep from the darkness of the cavern entrance.
"It is good to have you back with us Lo'rathhem," Hexatep remarked, straightening his akress as he bowed his head, "And you as well Baasdefen. I take it you had little problem finding your prey?"
"That would be him," Mae replied, pointing over to the now silent, quivering mass being guarded by Leafran and Syrwof. "We had to wait around for a while in Esosek, but we managed to entertain ourselves and I believe, we had a fairly productive stay."
