Start of battle part 2

All 5 soldiers with Zack stood outside the airfield. To prevent casualty the island was emptied including the airfield, all air-traffic was temporarily suspended unless allowed by permission of Knight army. Zack looked at the empty gate of the airfield. His instinct told him there was more to this. With his men following behind he moved to open the gate but suddenly stopped because there was a thin wire in front of the latch. If he moved in haste and wire was tripped in any way it would be detrimental.

He moved his fingers from the latch without disrupting the wire and jumped over the wire with agility by the support of the boundary wall. He searched for the explosive to which that wire was connected after brief search he relaxed as he finally found it and quickly broke the connection. Finally soldiers entered inside the airfield. An ambush started as soon as they moved a few steps. Rebels were hiding inside the main building and they were cautiously searched for and ambushed. It was done with military precision on both side as shots fired from both side. After a while some rebels were captured alive, while those dead was collected in a pile. After one hour of ambush. There was no sign of Brandon.

While his men interrogated rebels he looked around. He observed throughout the ambush there was a feeling of being watched. He looked at the Camera attached behind furnitures and shelves after finding them he started shooting all of them. He traced the wire track to find where those cameras finally ended. Actually cameras installed by Knights were different from those he was seeing. That brought to the conclusion that they were new set up and prepared for ambush to track their location.

Following the track he came across the outbox like structure in the periphery. He tried to move inside when shot rang out. Dodging he rolled on the ground. There was a brief pause in the firing mainly due to reloading of bullets. Taking the opportunity he jumped inside and pointed his gun to the man sitting calmly in front of the monitor showing blurred lines telling him about those cameras he shot recently.

Zack sat on the chair nearby as both their guns pointed at each other when he said " hello uncle Brandon, I don't think Birdie will like what his father is doing to the army of Knight enterprises".
