Meadow looked at the two shadows coming her way, she felt intense hatred for them but there was nothing she could do. It was none other than Rodney and Alexa. They were snuggled together in each other's embrace. Rodney chuckled seeing her enraged face. He smiled like it was the most normal thing to do. After kissing Alexa on her lips he said " hello Meadow I want you to meet Alexa Richmond my fiancee, we were engaged since birth".

I tried to curb my shock not wanting for him to see me in this pitiful state. I need to maintain my dignity for the sake of my mother. Alexa giggled in her nasal voice making goosebumps rise in my arms. I was in most difficult situation but all I could think was when did Alexa laughed in this irritating nasal voice.

Alexa held my chin in tight grip her nails digging in my arms. She laughed " do you remember when we met Meadow I was so angry you destroyed my new bottle I wanted to slap your innocent face but at that time Rodney gave me a look and from that day I became your best friend. Do you know at one point I told Rodney I can't tolerate you at all let alone talk with you daily. So, he arranged a girl with similar voice as me and she talked you as me for last 10 years and you never found out that I was not talking with you, how stupid can you be".

I was numb with anger over my stupidity. But as I thought about everything that happened with me I could find a link between many incidences to Alexa. She threw the ball Inside the mansion and made me go inside but before that she threw water over me to become a bait to be played with Irwin. I still remembered the kiss that Irwin forced on me, disgust crawling over me. I started heaving loudly but being empty stomach nothing came out just some mucous making my stomach hurt.

Rodney chuckled and came to me. "So, dear sister is finally connecting the dots yes I made Irwin obsessed over you. After your kiss I told your Mr Mathew about the decadent kiss and it plummeted his image and forced many restrictions on him for you which made Irwin crave you more. As you know we desire for things that are not in our reach and you became the red apple Meadow that I forced him to eat. Now let me give you a parting gift to my dear brother and in it's place I will be the CEO" . I was shocked I looked at him my eyes probing his expression I prayed with everything that they will kill me and not the other alternative that came to my mind.
