I didn't decide to wait for long. Grabbing the capsule, me and my geth ran away from Shepard's team towards this Louis. Two soldiers, shocked and scared, didn't even have time to shoot, and the next moment we simply shoved them so that they fell, and we hit the Frenchman in the legs with the capsule, causing him to fall and scream. A second later, shots flew after us from the pistols of the Normandy team. We had no weapons, and our shields were under our suits. This is what saved us from being turned into a sieve. A few more seconds later, we turned a corner, trying to hide or at least reach the ship by other means. However, Shepard's team did not share our goals, so they ran after us.

When we turned again, we had to run a hundred meters, turn again — and our ship was nearby. But when we ran 50 meters, Tali and Garrus appeared in front of us from around the corner, and Ashley and Kaidan from behind. Kaidan lit up with biotics, Ashley prepared a grenade, Garrus a pistol, and Tali — an overload. Suddenly a hatch opened from the side, and there I saw 11 krogans. One Warlord, obviously, the others, apparently, clones. Saren's people.

"So, Saren said... Hey, this is the geth!!! Get him!!!" immediately shouted the leader, after which he left the hatch. The others stayed behind, and I started to freak out more and more. What kind of coincidences are these? Okay, not about that now. We need to find a way out.

I found it quickly — behind us, if facing the krogan, there is an elevator. I immediately summoned it by the power of thought, literally, and decided to stall for time.

"Hey, hey, guy, take it easy. No offense, but there's a line here. These guys are after me too," I waved my hand back and forth, noticing that all four of them were already scared. Well, yes, they know what Rex is capable of, and this krogan was even bigger than him. Fifty kilos heavier, not counting the armor, and his bio-implant was cooler than I saw with Rex, by 3 levels.

"HA-HA-HA-HA... I don't give a damn about these pipsqueaks. You're coming with me!"

"Not so fast, overgrown lizard," Ashley immediately stepped in to defend me. Unexpected.

They were, of course, greenhorns, but their heavy armor, geth technology-based shotguns, and their unrestrained strength and rage still made me press into the elevator door, which, damn it, was moving as slowly as in the first Mass Effect! The others also hesitated, as they had four pistols, grenades, one biotic, and one engineer against one krogan Warlord and ten krogan greenhorns. There was no choice here. "Well, keep these guys in your sights, and you, come here!" The krogan began to approach me, and the elevator was still three floors away from us. Come on, you slowpoke! "What's in the box?" He asked me, looking piercingly.

"Gold and diamonds," I said calmly, lowering the box to the floor.

"How much?" - oh, so you didn't get the joke? Well, okay.

"50 kilograms," the krogan whistled appreciatively.

"Open it," he said, and right then the elevator door opened. Immediately, I punched the krogan in the face with all the strength I was capable of. The krogan growled, and I grabbed his shotgun, put it under his lower jaw, and shot. Although his head didn't explode, the sensors showed that he was done. After that, I immediately grabbed the capsule, dragged it into the elevator, and instinctively pressed the button for the lowest floor. The door closed, and a shootout had already broken out there.

The krogans immediately decided to lash out at the team. However, the team did not want to be victims. Tali immediately used an overload, and three krogans lost their shields. Garrus began shooting from a pistol at their heads, and especially at their eyes. When the pistol overheated, two krogans were already down, and the third was screaming in pain and was disoriented. At the same time, on the other side, Kaidan used stasis on two krogans, and then Ashley threw all five of her grenades. This took down two more krogans, and two others lost their shields. However, one of them still had his wits about him, as he decided to throw a grenade right at Ashley. The grenade exploded right next to her head, throwing her a meter back, and she lost consciousness. The remaining krogans — five of them — began shooting at Garrus and Tali, and only one paid attention to Kaidan. Their shields were immediately taken down.

Garrus's armor was still somehow holding up, as the distance was too great, but Tali had already gotten a hole in her suit. Suddenly one of the krogans charged. The others decided that it was all over, so they switched to Kaidan. Tali and Garrus started shooting at the krogan until they overheated, but this lizard didn't care. He had already pointed his shotgun, and Tali started to retreat. And when the krogan already pulled the trigger, Garrus hit his hand, and the shotgun blast hit Tali in the thigh and abdomen. She fell, but managed to hit the krogan in the eye with her last shot. He stumbled and growled, and Garrus, without wasting time, activated a magnetic mine, "stuck" it to the broken eye, pushed the krogan away with all his might, and then lay down on Tali. And not in vain - the grenade exploded three meters away from them. The shrapnel, driven by a powerful shock wave, riddled Garrus's armor.

"Hrgh... Damn..." Garrus growled, looking at the two lights in Tali's mask. He could even see his reflection in the girl's mask, although he tried to make out her herself.

"Garrus?" Tali was a little surprised, as it was already possible to get up.

"Leg... Don't feel..." Garrus managed to whisper, and a second later he was able to crawl off Tali and lay down next to her. The medigel had already healed Tali's wounds, but as soon as she tried to get up, she immediately felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. This meant that something was wrong with her internal organs, and such wounds the medigel doesn't heal.

At the same time, Kaidan was seriously angry. The sight of Ashley's bloody face drove him crazy and filled every cell of his body with furious rage. And when a shotgun blast hit his barrier, Kaidan's response would have surprised many. Gathering all his strength, he sent a blow straight at the krogan, although he had never been able to do it before. The blow hit the enemy and knocked him off his feet. Then Kaidan lifted the krogan and sent another blow, which killed the krogan, simply smearing him against the wall. And when the other four krogans turned to him, the human biotic could no longer control himself. He sent a singularity at the krogans, which lifted two of them. The other two started shooting at Kaidan, but the barrier was practically impenetrable. A warp flew into the singularity, the first exploded, knocking all the krogans back, killing two in the process. Kaidan didn't hesitate, so he simply ran at the remaining two.

He sent a biotic wave to one, and decided to finish the other by hand. Jumping to the ceiling of the dock, about five meters, and gathering all his barrier in his fist, he fell and hit the krogan in the face. The hand reached the spine and broke it, which killed the krogan. The last one, who was hit by the wave, was disemboweled. Almost all his armor was blown off, his stomach torn open, his guts already spreading across the floor, one stomach already fell out, and the second one is on the way, as are two livers at once. You don't even have to talk about the liters of blood that poured from the wound. However, when Kaidan pulled his hand out of the krogan's head, he immediately felt sick, and after a few seconds he passed out.

In the elevator

"We've been going for 10 minutes..."

"I know!" I interrupted the geth, who reminded me for the third time that we've been going too long. I don't even know whether to get out. In this time, we could have run to the very bottom floor on foot, and if they connected the locals... Okay, hope for the best. The main thing is optimism! Oh, we've arrived. As soon as the door opened, we saw two krogans. I immediately hit one with a shotgun in the back of the head, in the slot between the helmet and the armor, and we hit the second one in the head with a capsule. He fell, and then got a shotgun in the face.

"Take all their weapons," I said, and the geth began to loot. In half a minute we had 10 grenades, 3 shotguns, 2 pistols. Immediately securing everything and taking the pistols, we went looking for an exit. We had arrived at the very bottom level, namely - the warehouse. A huge warehouse, like the ones in Mass Effect 2, for example, when you did Garrus's loyalty mission.

"Comrade Legate. You need to find a way out of the warehouse you are in. It's not safe to use the elevator, and other krogans are already coming to you." Suddenly they contacted me from the Relic.

"How many krogans have been counted?"

"30."

"Your... Okay, we're going," the geth and I ran through the warehouse, but we hadn't run ten meters when they called me again.

"Stop. Geth-heretic signals detected."

"What signals?" I don't like this, and I don't want to look for these signals ourselves.

"Activation signals for platforms," they replied, and immediately one of the boxes opened and 10 stormtroopers tumbled out.

"Okay, take down everyone's shields, I'll finish them off," I suggested and we turned into an alley. A geth appeared in front of us, presumably from another box, but we didn't lose our composure. One shotgun blast took down his shields, and I finished him off with my own shotgun, hitting him in the torso, causing him to fly a meter away and show no further signs of life. Turning the corner, we found ourselves in a narrow, 3-meter-wide alley, where a rocketeer suddenly appeared. A rocket flew at us, but we managed to duck, and so the rocket killed the stormtrooper who had sneaked up behind us. A second later we killed the rocketeer and ran on. At the exit, a stormtrooper was waiting for us, but he immediately received a capsule to the head from us. For us, it was still light. Looking up, we saw scouts jumping along the walls, and geths and krogans running at us. Was this specifically for us, or were these forces to capture the colony? Without thinking long, we ran from this crowd. The scouts were already overtaking us and trying to hit us with their beams. There was no time to fire back, so we just ran. And we made it. To the freight elevator with a container that was just passing over our level. Jumping onto this container, we started to fire back. However, we only managed to kill two geths because the elevator was moving fast.

Passing into the next warehouse, we saw geths and krogans running after us, and then a rocket flew before my eyes. Turning around, I saw geths and krogans riding on three more elevators, and a krogan had fired the rockets. I activated two grenades, and they flew in his direction. Not at the krogan, but at the elevator. The grenades exploded, and the elevator with a screech and krogan screams went down. Now two more. But then I saw a rocket flying at me. It was coming straight at me, there was nowhere to jump, so I used my abilities to the fullest. I caught the rocket in flight, and after a couple of seconds, it ran out of fuel. It had a contact detonator, so now it was in my hands, and I was being looked at with surprised looks and whistles from the krogans. However, a second later I threw this rocket at the elevator, which was driving behind us along our line. The container flew off the elevator and went down, but as soon as it landed, there was a deafening explosion of such force that even our container flew down from a height of 15 meters. As soon as it fell, it immediately fell apart, and we found ourselves on... mattresses. Yes. This container was loaded with mattresses, 30 pieces. Thanks to them the capsule was not damaged.

"Comrade Legate, you are surrounded by enemy forces. I recommend evacuating through the newly formed entrance to the city subway."

"What... Wait a minute..." In surprise, I just took the capsule and went to the site of the explosion. Everyone who was chasing us was dead. The shock wave had mangled all the boxes and containers that were nearby, and in the floor, where the container had fallen, there was a gaping hole, in which I saw a subway tunnel. There were no rails, instead, there was something similar on the sides. "Are we not going to get run over by a train?" I asked.

"No. Trains have been stopped by an emergency protocol. You need to hurry. Emergency services are heading to the scene.

"Okay, let's go," I and the geth jumped into the tunnel with the capsule. By the voices, we understood where these services were coming from, so we ran in the opposite direction. We didn't have to run for long, after 20 meters I saw the entrance to a technical room. Turning into it, I opened the door, and immediately saw a krogan. To be precise, I saw his teeth, because the next second he rammed me, and I fell to the floor. However, I immediately hit him in the head, luckily he was without a helmet. I had enough strength to get him off me. I stood up, but the krogan grabbed my leg, swung me around, and slammed me to the floor on the other side of him. But the next second his head cracked from the capsule, with which my geth knocked the krogan. I got up, grabbed the shotgun, and shot the krogan in the face. Grabbing the capsule, we ran further, throwing two fragmentation and one EMP grenades into the emergency passage, from where geths were already crawling. Behind us, we left a smoke grenade, we had two of them.

After 10 minutes of running, we finally reached the station, which was already deserted.

"Legate, the station is closed. You will have to go through the emergency exit, it will lead you to the underground parking lot.

"Got it," - well, at least something good. Now we just have to get there and get a car.

Five minutes later we came out to the parking lot and saw a lot of cars, but none of them were suitable - the trunks were small.

"HEY, YOU! STOP!" - suddenly a Krogan voice was heard. It was the Master, and in his hands was "Cain".

"Hey, guy, you need us alive," I began to stall for time, as the krogan obviously wanted to kill us.

"You've killed so many of my guys, and now you think I'll let you go?! SCREW YOU!!!" the krogan began to yell.

"Do you even know what Saren will do to you? For a failed mission, huh?" I kept on.

"I don't give a damn about Saren!!!" replied the krogan, and began to charge "Cain". But he didn't manage to charge it halfway when suddenly a truck crashed into the krogan. The krogan flew into the wall at half the speed of sound, where "Cain", charged halfway, activated. The ceiling collapsed at that point, and I looked at the truck. Instead of a driver there was a geth. Our geth.

"Legate, get in," he said, sticking out of the car.

"Unexpected. Alright, let's go," I said, after which I put the capsule in the cargo compartment and sat in the passenger seat next to the driver. We started moving, surprising all the police officers who had already arrived at this parking lot. As it turned out later, when we drove out onto the street, this parking lot belonged to a police station. Yeah, that's inconvenient.

For the first three minutes, we drove calmly, and I could enjoy the beauties of Terra Nova. It's really a beautiful place. The tallest skyscrapers a kilometer high, using mass effect, on the roofs and extensions of which greenery was growing. This is what it means to build beautifully. But then the driver suddenly turned right, avoiding the charge of "Cain", which exploded in a row of cars. Three cars were torn to pieces, and five more fell down from a hundred-meter height.

"Yes," the geth, who was also in costume, handed me... a "Black Widow". That's it, now hold on! Leaning out of the window, I aimed at a car in which a krogan and three geth were sitting. The first shot hit the krogan, right in the head. Another one in the mass-core, which caused the car to start falling. "Where did you get this rifle?" I decided to ask while aiming at another car. It was filled with geth.

"We found it in this truck. Presumably - smuggling. We also found three bio-implants, 1 kg of quadroacetomorphine...

"Another name - red sand.

"Okay, got it. Just a moment..." I said and shot at the core of the car. Instead of just turning off, it exploded, scattering geth and the transport into pieces. Then I had to hide because another car appeared with a broken window, from which they were shooting from a machine gun. Waiting until they started reloading, I leaned out, and shots from three rifles flew at me. I fired and hid, but it was worth it. I hit the core again, and it just turned off. And after 10 minutes, when we were being chased by a bunch of cars with geth and krogan, as many police officers, and even three gunships, our frigate finally arrived. It was flying with the hangar open, and the driver immediately directed the truck there. And as soon as we flew in there, the hangar closed, and the frigate rushed off Terra Nova. The missiles and other projectiles launched by the Planetary Anti-Space Defense System didn't bother us at all - the interference we were creating was helping us a lot. But suddenly, when we were already entering the relay, a missile still hit us.
