If you got to keep her, I get to keep him

And here we go again with a Monday. I just hate Mondays and sometimes every other day of the week in which we have to attend school. I know I am a nerd and basically we are supposed to love school. But no, I love getting good grades, I love English but I don't love school. I hate them by heart.

I am standing in lunch line and considering the fact that I am already too hungry, I am going too have pizza today and my eyes lit up with the thought. I took my food and move to my lunch table. Yes right not Jacob's table but Belle and mine old lunch table. I know it's Monday and I am suppose to sit with him. But Saturday night is still active in my mind and I haven't let it go. Not when Jacob still have no idea what I have gone through because of him. He did called but next day that to scold me for leaving him without even informing.

I spot Isabelle standing a few metre away from Jacob's table with her tray in her hand looking for me. Her eyes scanned the whole cafeteria and finally stop on me. She look at me confused but nevertheless followed.

"Why are you eating here, today is Monday right, why aren't you with your boyfriend?" I groaned internally.

"Why you miss eating with Jonathan?" I asked teasingly and she made a face like she's is going to puke. I scan the cafeteria for Jacob but I guess he isn't here yet. My eyes met with Rosen who is sitting all alone in a far corner.. He smiled looking at me and I waved at him to come over. He hesitated for a second but I insisted with my eyes and I guess he gave in.

"You mind if we have a plus one on this table.." I asked Belle who was busy in stuffing her mouth..

"Depends if this plus one is your jerk of a bf, then yes I mind.." And before I could say anything, Rosen plopped down. "Thanxxx girls for inviting me for lunch.." and Isabelle's movements came to a stop. She look at him with wide eyes and Rosen smiled uncomfortably.

"Hey Isabelle, I am sorry for interrupting, if you want I can leave.."

"No, no it's fine. I was just not expecting you to sit with us.." yeah she is right, nobody would as he is the twin of Rosaline.. "Yeah you never sit with Rosaline and her friends. Do you everyday eat alone?" I asked him and he look a bit pained at mention of Rosaline. "Well I don't fit with her friends and actually I always go out for lunch but today didn't feel like going out so came here.."

"Well from now on you don't have to because Belle and I are ready to squeeze you in with us.." I smiled happily looking at her and she nodded her head. I was busy in having a conversation with both of them when I feel a hand sneaked up to my plate and get a handful of fries. I look back and my eyes met with a striking blue one.. "Don't touch my food Daniel get your own.." I shoved his hands and he grinned. Rosen and Belle both look confused at him wondering why is he here. I thought the same and then in no time two chairs were joint with our table and there sat Daniel Kapoor and Caleb Jones the two bad boys of our school. I narrowed my eyes at both of them and they totally ignored..

"Hello guys" I look over at Caleb with a raised eyebrow who looked very enthusiastic. "What I am just introducing myself to my soon to be besties. So ladies here is Caleb Jones, the hottest guy in school at your service.." he said in a fake accent and Belle and I burst out laughing. I told you the guy is totally hilarious. Rosen seemed happy with the guys and Isabelle too. And I think I won't mind either. Daniel took a hold of Isabelle's spoon and started munching on her food. She look at him with wide eyes. I nudged to get her attention and she flushed.

Well Isabelle is usually a shy person and she is not at all used to people like Daniel giving her their attention. "Isabelle right? you don't mind do you.." he asked and she nodded her head in a no. "See some people are so considerate unlike you.." he teased me and I rolled my eyes. Again his hand make way towards my fries and I shoved it.. "Daniel why don't you just go and get your own food.." I glared and he pout like a kid, placing his head on the table he whined "Because I am too lazy sugar please just let me eat..." And I couldn't stop the smile that occur on my face. I look over and see Jacob glaring at our table hard very hard..

I was waiting for Isabelle in the parking lot. Finally this dreaded day came to an end. And thankfully I don't have much homework today so I can just go home and watch Netflix cuddling up in my comforter. I had this afternoon properly planned. "Sorry I got stuck with the teacher.." Isabelle apologized and I shrugged. "I just waited to say goodbye, I will see you tomorrow Belle." Before I could leave Belle caught my hand.

"Wait Missy you have a lot of explanation to do.." I look at her questioningly and she grinned..

Isabelle - since when you and the new boy get so buddy buddy.

Tara- he is in almost all of my classes Belle and we are seat mates in Mathematics. So we just talk a bit.

Belle - A bit. Are you serious. He eat with us at lunch and he called you sugar. He had a nickname for you Tara..

I rolled my eyes at her excitement, what is so great about it.

Tara- a nickname I totally hate. But he don't seem to get it.

Belle - well now coming back to your jerk bf, what happened with him. Did he do something, I swear to Jesus Tara, I will chop him in pieces.. And feed his body to dogs if.

I cut her off. She is so small and completely harmful but will never hesitate to castrate a person for me. I look at her amused..

Tara- calm down Belle..

And then I told her everything that happened at the party. Including the part where Daniel walks me home..

"That son of a bitch, I told you he was no good for you but you never listen." She gave some more profanities to Jacob and I just rolled my eyes.

"It was just one time Belle, it's not like every time he forget me at a party. And honestly I left without informing him. It was stupid on my part. I should have at least called a cab. But no stupid Tara preferred walking alone at such hour.." I confessed sadly. Of course I was hurt because of Jacob, but it wasn't his fault that I fall in the situation like that.. I was going to say something more when I saw Isabelle shooting daggers at someone behind me.

I turned around to see Jacob standing there. "Can I talk to you Tara, please.." Belle glowered beside me and I look at her with pleading eyes, I don't want to create a scene here.. she look at him and me and then left from there without another word.

Jacob - Why were you sitting with that jerk new boy at lunch?

I almost stopped myself from rolling my eyes, the first question he asked is this. Seriously.

Tara- Because he is my friend.

Jacob - Seriously Tara, it was his 3rd day at school and you are already friend with him. Not to forget that he is a douchebag. It's Monday you were suppose to sit with me.

I was boiling with anger now, he is suppose to apologize but here he is accusing me with sitting with my friends. "Those are my friends Jacob and I have decided I am going to sit with them daily. I don't like being at your table, nobody else does. So it's better we both sit with our friends.."

Jacob - What is wrong with you Tara, you left me alone at the party, then you didn't pick my call and now you are ditching me at lunch..

Tara - What's wrong with me or what's wrong with you Jacob. You didn't even care that I left the party. You were so busy with that Rosaline.

Jacob - of course I care Tara , you are the one who doesn't picked my calls.

Tara - Really, you called next day. Jacob, if you were worried I would have received a call same day not the other day..

My eyes were full with tears, I was on the verge of crying, Jacob looked guilty. He engulfed me in a hug and starting apologizing. "I am so sorry babe, I am an idiot. Forgive me please.." I calmed down in few more minutes. Jacob have that effect on me. No matter how angry I am, but once in his arms I melt like a ice-cream. He kept me there for few more minutes.

"I am sorry Jac, I shouldn't be shouting at you like that. Let's forget everything ok.." he smiled and plant a small peck on my lips.. "You just stay away from that new kid, I haven't heard good things about him and the fact he hangs out with Caleb proves my suspicion. They both are no good.." I frowned at him, Daniel and I were not exactly friend but I like his company and Caleb's too.. I am not going to stop talking to them just because he said so..

"Okay I would, but can you stop hanging out with Rosaline. Can you stop talking to her..?" I questioned and now it was his turn to frown..

"Why would you say that, you now Rosaline and I are best friend since from ever, I can't leave her.." and here we go again.. "exactly Jac Daniel is my friend and I can't leave him either. So if you got to keep her, I get to keep him.." I said with a dismissive voice and I know he wasn't going to challenge my decision and I was glad for that....
