"You never learned." Dalton, her friend who becomes the royal chief kinght shook his head seeing Selene return with her fiance.
"Hey there, lazy, gorgeous prick." Selene flinched upon hearing a familiar voice. Turning around, she was greeted by his captivating blue eyes and golden hair.
"You and your pesky remarks, your highness." She smirked, hiding her vulnerability. But the man gave her nothing but a lousy grin.
"So what brought you there this time?" Yofiel leaned closer to her.
She grabbed Spain's arm who was standing next to her, gripping it tight. "I need your help." She twisted her lips while looking directly to the prince "No. Let me rephrase what I just said." She locked her eyes on him and said in authoritative manner, "You can't say no. You have to help me. I'm not pleading."
Spain was seeing desperation on Selene's eyes and action. He clenched his fist as a visible mischief can be seen on the prince's eyes and smirk. He didn't restrict himself but wrapped Selene in his arms. "There's nothing that he can do that I can't do, Selene."
He can see the shock on Selene's eyes. 'Did she forget that I am here?'
He was furious. Very furious. His grip become tighter as sharpness on his tone is evident. "Why don't you know when to ask me for help, Selene?" He asked as if he is begging. His eyes looked softly at her scared face. Dalton and Yofiel on the other hand excused themselves.
"No matter how you say 'I can fix this', the idea of entropy as a constant change to chaos will surely hit you right through your head. Life will be bad. But, it doesn't mean that you have to lose yourself with it." He said in a very low, soft voice. He caressed her cheek and wiped the tears that are about to come out. He spoke in riddles again. He can see how she knot her forehead that made her cuter. A reassuring smile curved on his lips then he cupped her face. "Now, tell me what it is that bothers you?"
SELENE's brown eyes dilated and gave a hopeful and seems excited.
"There's something. Rumors." She lead him to her room. The duke and duchess of Leviathan set up a room of her own as they would be family soon anyway. She opened her drawer and took out a notebook and flipped it on. Then she added, "What's intrigued me more is that the tree house had traces of mana." She took a dried leaf attached in the notebook. "Look."
Spain drew himself nearer to her and squinted his eyes to check the leaf. "You're right", he as the sole heir of Leviathan's household can detect and control mana.
"What?" She arched an eyebrow.
"It's a strong mana." He looked straight in the eyes. "It's so strong that it left a trace despite years had passed" He saw her eyes blinks and seemed to sparkle.
He saw her eyes become misty again. "It seems there is a twist of luck on my side, Spain." Her voice broke in the end of her sentence. "It means those were not a dream. Ciel is real."
His world, he knew, is about to be shattered. He is scared to the possible outcome. He felt an ominous feeling. He could only hope nothing will go wrong.
