A war is coming upon the werewolf world, a war that had been predestined. Fallon Hills, a female werewolf and an Alpha will be the one to liberate all werewolves from impending doom but she has a lot to sacrifice on her journey. She'll sacrifice friends, family, lover and even herself to do what is right and at the end of the day she fights for recognition of all werewolves. A woman has never been an Alpha. The position of an Alpha is very tasking as nothing comes easy. Fallon Hills is what the werewolf world sees as an anomaly. She's an anomaly not because she can't shape-shift or do whatever wolves do best, but an anomaly because she is the first Female to become Alpha. Other wolves of the breedlands don't respect her and she in turn does not respect them, to be honest she is a child at heart but is forced to take responsibility of her pack and she'd rather die than to let anything happen to her pack. She has troubles to face and will face them head on even if it means betraying her pack or sacrificing herself. Follow Fallon as she grows from a mischievous wolf pup to a mature Alpha that all will come to respect. Fallon Hills is what the werewolf world sees as an anomaly. I WATCHED ALPHA FALLON WALK IN. HER EVERY STEP WAS TAKEN CAREFULLY.

I seriously didn't like these meetings. Before she came in, these Alpha's were busy displaying their aura.

Most of them were already sworn enemies. But this was neutral ground. They were no friends or enemies here.

I sank into my seat as they were busy showing off. I seriously want to be interested in their little power show off. But I wasn't.

I spotted the twins Jack and Jake Daniels. They had just become joint Alpha's of the Silvercrest pack. We had quite a close relationship but I didn't like the fact they were super mischievous.

Fallon walked in when Henrik scrunched his nose in disgust. Henrik always had an entitlement character.

Everyone knew the story of the sudden fall of Fallon's Pack. Henrik's pack was next to hers and he always thought he needed to take over it. It pained him when a little girl took over and fouled his attempts against her pack.

Since then he had a long running hatred for her.

I, on the other hand, found her very interesting.

It was no surprise that seeing Fallon made Henrik angry and said some really demeaning words.

Alpha Holden had to stop him before it would turn into a full fledged fight. Because, Henrik was gunning for a fight and I had a sick feeling that he'd get one before the end of this convention.

When the atmosphere had settled, we went ahead to introduce ourselves.

Starting from the eldest to the youngest. After thirteen introductions, it was finally my turn. I stood up and began speaking.

"I am Alpha Grey of Shadow Pack." Then I took my seat.  Everyone was looking at me like I had something extra to say. But, I didn't.

The twins were giving me thumbs up and grinning.

After my introduction was that of Alpha Clayton and then that of the rest that followed after him.

The breakfast meeting was just a brief meeting to get to know each other by name. But I knew what came next; the dance of egos. Where every Alpha boasted of his achievement to the other.

I never liked these conventions but they were necessary.

Alpha Guy, who I figured out to be Guy told of how he killed a rogue by injecting silver through its veins.

Alpha Stanley being the second oldest in our age grade I guess he was twenty four years, told of how he only gave them community service and an evil grin spread through his face. I knew his kind of community service was not the regular I grinned too.

They kept bragging on and on about who gave out the most gruesome death. I, on the other hand, was busy with my food. I've always savored the taste of dried antelope meat. I know it's a breakfast meeting but  you wouldn't expect wolves to eat light food?

"How about you Fallon, how do you kill them?" Asked Dylan. An almost bald, dark skinned and young Alpha. I sat upright now. Also wanting to know.

"Would you want to know baldy?" She asked him sweetly. So sweetly the witch who forcefully fed Hansel sweets would get diabetes, he shot her a lopsided grin.

"Well you all know my biggest feat." She smirked at us, her gaze lingering more on Alpha Holden's face. His face hardened how would he forget his first ever duty as the convention president that Fallon ruined without remorse.

"How I actually torture them depends on their crime committed, so mild crimes receive beating with silver laced whip or wolfsheen laced whip the offender will be flogged everyday till they die." She shrugged as she carelessly said it. Seems like she had regained her confidence.

"What's wolfsheen?" An Alpha with huge glasses asked. He had asked the question on everyone's mind.

Fallon's face seemed like she had made a mistake. But she had to answer now that all eyes were on her.

"It's like wolfsbane but stronger and deadlier. It took my pack some years to come up with the formula." She replied.

Why would you need something stronger than wolfsbane? The answer was simple. There has been a great uprising for years now and the rogues have become tremendously stronger. Normal shots of wolfsbane couldn't kill them.

"And you kept this discovery to yourself?" Asked the wolf with glasses. "You have something strong enough to wipe out an entire wolf community and you kept it to yourself?" He queried further.

"It's my pack's discovery. And I damn well decide who needs to know about it." She replied in a  matter of fact way. Sneering at everyone who looked at her.

"Little puppy, is keeping secrets from the wolf community." Henrik sneered at her.

"Well I was going to show it to you as usual, Henrik. It's a shame the surprise was spoiled." She said pouting. Henrik cursed under his breath.

"So it's a weapon?" The Alpha who spoke up for Fallon when Henrik was accosting her asked.

"Yes and no, Yes it's a weapon that can kill, No it's a torture mechanism, and I am done answering any question which concerns my pack and it's knowledge" she said.

"So you have the power to wipe out an entire wolf population… nice." I complimented her. She craned her neck to find me but couldn't.

We ate in silence for a few minutes before I asked another question. Shifting into her line of vision so she wouldn't have to crane her neck anymore.

"Why do you hold two purges in your pack Alpha Fallon?"

"And you are?"

"Grey of Den Pack" I skipped the word Alpha. I felt a tingling sensation inside me as she asked me a direct question.

"My pack, as you all know from wolf history, was among the first werewolves families. I don't need to go into details, all these were taught in pack schools." I nodded at her as that was true. Our history was told to us as soon as we could walk.

"Oh the first werewolves, I thought that was just, you know a myth?" one of the twins asked. He had black streak on his beach blonde hair.

"Aren't werewolves also myths?" She asked him back.

His twin smacked him on the head and laughed.

"Which one of you is Jake?" Fallon asked. The twin with beach blonde hair and a black streak waved his hand.

"I thought you'd kill someone by this morning." Alpha Dylan said with an uneasy chuckle.

"Don't you think it's too early?" I asked him back and he sank into his chair.

"Do you always answer a question with a question?" I asked her.

"I don't know, do I?"  She replied, smiling sweetly at me.

"Ten thousand dollars bet that Fallon would kill someone before this meeting ends." Alpha Jack the twin with no streak on his beach blonde hair said.

"Ten thousand dollars that she won't." Jake countered his brother's bet.

More voices started calling out numbers. Alpha seemed like he was going to stop them but he knew he couldn't. He only gave a disapproving shake of his head.
