Last entry 1/2

On a quiet evening one day, Cal went out for a breath of fresh air, taking notebook with him. Step by step he walked back and forth between the houses, crossing the small distances between them. Seeing a cozy bench under two trees and a lantern that illuminated that part of the yard, Cal hurried to it with the intention of reading the notebook. Opening to the right page, he read.

"The more you learn, the less you know."

The last entry.

I've been doing well lately, and I think my observations of myself have made a positive difference. But here's the important thing. No matter how much I manage to learn from various sources, it will never be enough for a person that strives to succeed in life. As the sages say, there is no limit to perfection, and perfection is beyond the power of man.

All these rules and sayings that I have derived for myself are nothing more than letters written on paper. They are as useful as each person can apply in life and realize them.
