Nevaeh had never been as angry as she felt now with Engel. She was too livid she couldn't afford to be his presence.
How insensitive could he be? How dare he and his wicked league of angels want her to kill her sister? That was ridiculous and inhumane.
"Trouble in paradise?" Nevaeh heard someone say behind her. She turned to see Araminta standing few feets away.
Nevaeh shook her head, as she continued shading. She had managed to grab her sketchbook before storming out of the Library.
"That's some aggressive shading going on there. Are you sure you want your husband looking like a devil?" Araminta tipped her chin towards Nevaeh's sketch.
"At this moment I can give him a horn." Nevaeh humorlessly replied without pausing her drawing.
"Then you should threw in two. A devil with an incomplete horn is not a hottie."
Nevaeh paused and glanced at Araminta. The stoic look on her face shifted as she let out a chuckle.
