The Pact

"Right, Heeya. I know you'd be confused now, but there is a lot we need to tell you"

I placed my hand on the little girl's shoulder as she sat on the ground with her arms resting on her raised knees. We were in a small park not so far from our scene of destruction, having run for a few blocks after that unexpected collapse that Heeya caused. 

"Do you think… somebody might have gotten hurt?", Heeya cautiously asked - a little bit scared, quite concerned, but more in shock than anything just as you could expect from a ten-year-old girl who managed to single-handedly destroy what was probably about a ten-story tall building. 

"The thing is, Heeya-"

"Stop, I will do this one"

To my surprise, Haein interrupted me as I was about to explain to the confused kid what was really happening. 

"OK, Haein Unni…"

"The world is coming to an end", the kitten announced. 

"Huh?", Heeya was understandably perplexed.
